Erice
The amazingly sited Castello di Venere in Erice. Towering over the west of Sicily at 751m above sea level and often covered in its own personal cloud, Erice is a wonderfully preserved Mediaeval town offering the most breathtaking views and a palpable sense of history.
Marsala
Marsala is the most populated town in its province and the fifth in Sicily. The town is famous for the docking of Giuseppe Garibaldi on 11 May 1860 (the Expedition of the Thousand) and for its Marsala wine. A feature of the area is the Stagnone Lagoon Natural Reserve – a marine area with salt ponds.

5.00Renato was an amazing driver and host for the trip. He was friendly from beginning to end and knew a lot about the history and significance of the places we went to. He was also a good driver. The views in the van made the trip worth it but there was so much more. Erice was stunning, Marsala salt flats were great to see and the visit to Baglio Donna Franco was a great way to end it. The wine was very tasty and the the tour of the winery was nice. Food was excellent and all freshly made there at the farm.

4.00Really cool to see the castle town of Erice, Salt pans, and winery in Marsala. The winery was certainly the highlight. Very welcoming service. Only thing was it is a lot of travel. We traveled more than our tour which, if expected, is completely worth the experience!

5.00Our guide Gigi was amazing, she was personable and knowledgeable! Along the drive she gave so much information about the history and culture of the area. She was dedicated to making this excursion a memorable one. Our driver was very safe and actually followed the driving laws unlike all of the other tours I went on wirh other companies. I felt safe which made this a relaxing and enjoyable trip.
