Dujiangyan Irrigation System
we'll picks you up from your hotel in the morning at 8:00 am and drive to Dujiangyan. It takes about one hour to get there. Dujiangyan is the oldest and only surviving no-dam irrigation system in the world. Over 2,200 years ago, it was constructed under the leadership of Li Bing, a local official, and his son. It consists of three parts-Yuzi, Feishayan and Baopingkou, which work together to control the water flow. For several centuries, the great irrigation system has contributed a lot to the flood prevention and agricultural development, thus making Chengdu Plain “the land of abundance”.
Mount Qingcheng
After lunch , We'll drive to Mount Qingcheng.(approximately 30minutes) Mount. Qingcheng is one of the most famous Taoist centers in China and is famous for its tranquil atmosphere. You can choose to take a cable car or climb stone staircases to find quaint temples and pavilions scattered in the forest. This afternoon we'll indulge in the beautiful scenery of mountains and waters and have a deep understanding of Taoism.
