3.00One hour wait for passport control so we could not get our bags and meet driver in by the one hour after arrival. Had to wait another hour for bags. Driver did wait however he had to charge extra due to delay. So not worth it. Just take a taxi.

Good Airport Transfer, Confusing Meeting Point Instructions

4.00No complaints about the driver getting us to our hotel in Amsterdam, he as very nice and polite. The car was large enough to handle us and our luggage. What I found confusing were the meeting point instructions. After I booked the transfer on Viator there were very specific instructions on where to meet and it said that the driver would be holding a placard with my name. Once we landed I started getting texts with new meeting point instructions. Instead of meeting in the arrivals area we were meeting outside in the departures level of the airport. It also didn't help that the exit where the driver told us to meet was blocked off and closed at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. When we did finally find him, no sign with my name. After a long overnight flight I just didn't expect such confusion.
