Amsterdam Canal Ring
Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands, has more than one hundred kilometers of grachten (canals), about 90 islands and 1,500 bridges. The three main canals (Herengracht, Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht), dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age, form concentric belts around the city, known as the Grachtengordel. Alongside the main canals are 1550 monumental buildings.[1] The 17th-century canal ring area, including the Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht and Jordaan, were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010,[2] contributing to Amsterdam's fame as the "Venice of the North"

The experience was excellent. Our captain, Oliver, was so knowledgeable about Amsterdam’s history and witty as well. He memorized each guest’s name and place of residence which impressed me. When the tour was over, I wanted to stay on the boat and repeat the tour.

Beautiful way to see the city of Amsterdam! Very relaxing and peaceful. We would have preferred more commentary about the history etc.

Very peaceful in the electric boat. Note: not covered so umbrellas are required if it is raining. The boat provides some umbrellas. Trip could be a little better if the driver could provide some narration while the guide is getting everyone drinks.

Naut was a great tour guide! Snacks provided and a little rain at the end wasn’t a problem as they were well prepared. Got to see lots of sights including the Amsterdam zoo which would be great for kids
