Amsterdam Canal Ring
Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands, has more than one hundred kilometers of grachten (canals), about 90 islands and 1,500 bridges. The three main canals (Herengracht, Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht), dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age, form concentric belts around the city, known as the Grachtengordel. Alongside the main canals are 1550 monumental buildings.[1] The 17th-century canal ring area, including the Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht and Jordaan, were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010,[2] contributing to Amsterdam's fame as the "Venice of the North"

Captain JP was entertaining and educational. We really enjoyed seeing Amsterdam from his boat and hearing about the local history and Amsterdam today.

The cruise was great. Jeff, our boat captain, was very experienced and knowledgeable and conducted a great tour. The smaller boat allowed access to smaller canals with some great views. I highly recommend this cruise.

Sanne, our captain was very knowledgeable about the city and also quite funny. Maybe that was the wine talking though 🤣. We had a wonderful day out and were happy with boat and attention to detail from the team. My daughter loved the Stroopwaffles and my husband and myself loved the cheese and wine. The boat was comfortable and there are no bad seats. You can see everything from any position. All in all I would recommend and would use again
