Amsterdam Canal Ring
Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands, has more than one hundred kilometers of grachten (canals), about 90 islands and 1,500 bridges. The three main canals (Herengracht, Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht), dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age, form concentric belts around the city, known as the Grachtengordel. Alongside the main canals are 1550 monumental buildings.[1] The 17th-century canal ring area, including the Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht and Jordaan, were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010,[2] contributing to Amsterdam's fame as the "Venice of the North"

Great trip, guide Dan was amazing. Very informative and funny. Plenty alcohol and nibbles if required for trip. Thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish

Good design of seats so everyone gets free access to picture taking I’m so glad I included it in my rushed trip. I think it’s important to see the city from the middle of canal perspective.

We had such a great time on this cruise. The pilot, Erik, was very funny and knowledgeable. We learned a lot of interesting things and saw some beautiful areas. We met other people later in the week that took different boat tours and did not enjoy them, so I would definitely book with Capt Jack!

This was nothing more than a boat ride. Not much from the guide. A neat perspective from the canals but not worth the money. Do a guided historical walking tour instead.

The cruise was a pleasure. The cruise captain, JP, was friendly, engaging, and funny. He smoothly guided us along the canal and shared interesting stories of Amsterdam's history. It was a lovely, relaxing afternoon that I'd not hesitate to repeat.
