What To Expect
The Amstel
The Amstel is the biggest canal of all and Amsterdam was founded from this canal which was originally a river. Fisherman builded a "dam" and called is Amstel're'dam.
Skinny Bridge
One of Amsterdam’s many bridges is the beautiful Magere Brug, known to English speakers at the Skinny Bridge. This wooden drawbridge was once so narrow that it was hard for two pedestrians to pass each other. To cope with increasing traffic on the Amstel, a wider bridge replaced the narrow original in 1871.

5.00This boat tour was absolutely fabulous! The service was excellent and the food was delicious! There are three choices for each course - fish, meat, veg, and for dessert there was fruit, cheese, or cheesecake - and there is a bathroom on the boat. We would recommend this tour a thousand times. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful last evening in Amsterdam.

4.00Dinner was very very nice. Worth the price tag in my opinion. We took a sunset cruise that took all of 3 hrs so plan accordingly. Our pickup point was hard to find but ended up being TO THE RIGHT OF THE BIG FLOATING PAGODA CHINESE RESTAURANT on the lower dock. Remember that! The boat arrived about 15 mins early. Service took a little while but we bought a bottle of Portuguese red (€35) and was well worth it. Had a delicious local assortment of cheese, different but delicious starter salad, gnocchi and lamb lollipops for dinner and mascaropne pear and (almost) cheese cake for dessert. Staff did really well and the boat was immaculate. Would recommend!!! Reason for my 4 star review was they forgot one of our desserts so we went without (They comp'd the bottle of wine instead) and also the unclear pickup instructions. It also ran about 30 minutes over schedule.
