Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands, has more than one hundred kilometers of grachten (canals), about 90 islands and 1,500 bridges. The three main canals (Herengracht, Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht), dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age, form concentric belts around the city, known as the Grachtengordel. Alongside the main canals are 1550 monumental buildings.[1] The 17th-century canal ring area, including the Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht and Jordaan, were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010,[2] contributing to Amsterdam's fame as the "Venice of the North"

I enjoyed the tour, Captain Jack did a great job explaining the history of Amsterdam. The drinks and snacks were good, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks available. Best if you arrive with no bags though, no extra room to store them so that's why I gave a 4 star instead of 5 because seating was very cramped.

Had a great experience with mark, he was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun for all! Appreciate him making the effort to take us on the tour even though it was New Year’s Day! Definitely worth it :)

Such a fun night time experience. Great tour guide and the views were beautiful. Would love to do this during the early hours of the day for more sunlight, but nonetheless this was a perfect way to end the night in Amsterdam.
