About SAIL Amsterdam 2025

SAIL Amsterdam is the world’s largest tall ship festival, held once every five years. The 2025 edition celebrates its 10th edition, 50 years of SAIL, and Amsterdam’s 750th birthday.

From 20–24 August, the IJ harbour becomes a floating museum of maritime heritage, welcoming millions of visitors and historic tall ships from around the world.
