Brugge is lovely .I think the tour should start a hour earlier since it takes 3.5 hrs to get there to give you more time to see some of the sights. Tour guide Ian was delightful and knowledgeable.

The experience itself was great, and worth the money and likely better than taking a train. The problem I encountered was the guide didn’t seem to want to engage with me for a reason I cannot explain. It appeared to me that he kept his focus on the small groups, which as a businessman I understand, he probably assumed it would lead to bigger tips for the guide. However, as a multimillionaire real estate investor in the Washington area, you assumed wrong that a solo traveler was to be ignored.

Comfortable ride in to Bruges - really enjoyed exploring on our own. The weather was perfect for dining outside and strolling. Alex was a great tour guide and Sandra was an excellent driver.

It was more of a transportation situation than a tour. The guide was so hard to listen to that we opted out of the hour tour once we got to Bruges. He wasn’t very friendly either-just cordial. No suggestions on what to do during our free time or where to go, just gave us a map.

Excellent everything; the bus, the guide and, best of all, Bruges. Much more than I expected. I will definitely recommend it to my friends

Very long drive and tour guide was just average. Took tour a few years ago and was not as long. City was great on my own. Meeting place was easy to find.

A very good tour. Ian the guide and Richard the driver were amazing. Ian was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable - you could tell he loved his job. It is a long bus ride - 3+ hours - but there is plenty of time to enjoy beautiful Bruges.

This was a good tour. The bus ride was 3 hours. Luka, our tour guide was okay. He really did not give us much information on the trip to Brugge during this 3-hour trip. When we did arrive, we were to have an hour guided tour of Brugge. However, he walked really fast during this tour. This might be due to how crowded it was but nevertheless it was a little disappointing. Brugge, itself was really good for seeing the churches, all the chocolate shoppes, restaurants and shopping. But it was really, really crowded. I would do this tour again because there is so much to see but not enough time to get it all in. The bus was very comfortable, no bathroom break (but one is on the bus if you want to use. There were water, soft drinks and beer available for purchase on board. Please bring snacks if you get hungry and you much purchase your own food in Brugge it is not provided on this tour, pretty much just transportation from Amsterdam to Brugge.

Excellent day trip. Ian gave wonderful information about the Netherlands, Belgium, Bruge, and many other things with humor and intelligence in two languages. His restaurant and chocolatier recommendations were helpful. The introductory walking tour was informative and well-paced. If you don’t have some sights planned on your own you might feel like the free time is too much. Do some research. Have a plan.
