What To Expect
Learn how to make the world famous Dutch Stroopwafels yourself! During this Fun and Easy workshop, our professional host will assist you in creating some delicious traditional Dutch Syrup Waffles Nestled in the charming heart of Amsterdam. As you step into our cosy, welcoming venue, the aroma of caramel and freshly baked dough envelops you, setting the stage for a truly authentic Dutch experience. Our 45-minute workshop begins with a warm introduction from your experienced guide, who will share the fascinating history of the Stroopwafel, a beloved Dutch specialty since the 18th century. You’ll don your apron and gather around as the guide demonstrates the art of crafting the perfect Stroopwafel—from mixing the dough to the precise cooking technique required to achieve that golden, crispy texture. Then, it’s your turn to get hands-on. You’ll roll out your dough and learn how to cook it to perfection on a traditional iron. The highlight comes when you drizzle warm, gooey syrup—the 'stroop'—between the thin wafel layers, sealing the sweet concoction. While your creations cool, you'll enjoy a well-deserved break with a cup of coffee or tea, mingling with fellow baking enthusiasts.

5.00We had an amazing time with Morris and Harald today making 2 stroopwafels. The instructions were super easy to follow and everyone's waffel turned out great! Morris made it fun and i have to say...this is the BEST date activity!!! Highly recommend!

5.00A simple, easy, quick but fun thing to do in Amsterdam. Everything was clean and well-organised. The staff were SO kind to me and my son, they were engaging, polite, interesting, attentive and fun. We had a great time and loved our waffle.

5.00Great little workshop for couples . Would have preferred no hen do but it was still enjoyable . Maybe a couple workshop and a separate party one for future but I enjoyed making the stroop! Thank you
