We loved our tour with Paulo. He had great stories. English was excellent but he speaks 5 languages so probably great in all of those languages. He had great views , cool experiences. There were 6 of our family from age 13 to 72 and we all loved the tour.

As a first time experience, this tour through Furnas truly set the standard and expectations for the rest our stay in Azores. This package provided an excellent opportunity to view and experience the natural beauty of Azores (as well as an opportunity to capture beautiful pictures and memories). We were most fortunate to have such an engaging tour guide to walk us through the natural geyseir and spring spots while feeding us with information of the rich history and culture in a charming and welcoming way.

We had a great tour with Vera. She showed us multiple breathtaking viewpoints, stopped at a tea plantation and the hot springs, and terra nostra park. We had 1.5 hours to explore terra nostra at our leisure. Wear a black swim suit if you choose to use the pools as the water stains. Each stop we were given time to do as we please, so it was nice we could do things at our own pace. Would recommend!

Eduardo was our guide for the day and was excellent. We were very lucky because it was just us in the van so we had our own private tour (we booked a group tour). We were lucky with the weather too and saw some beautiful views. We chose to visit Parque Terra Nostra for a dip in the lake and a wander around the beautiful garden. (You can also be dropped at Poca Dona Beija I believe ). After 2 hours we met back with Edu and he took us to Restaurante Tony's for lunch where we were very well looked after, despite the place being packed. Starter, drinks, Cozido das Furnas and dessert all included in the trip price. Excellent food and so much of it! A walk around the calderas and fumaroles was very interesting. Some more fantastic views then a stop at the tea plantation. Edu was extremely knowledgeable about everything we saw that day and was very friendly and helpful.

Cannot say enough positive things about our tour yesterday. We lucked out with sunshine when in the thermal bath and walking through the park. Eduardo was very kind and knowledgeable. I would book again with Into the Wild to see the other side of the island. Thank you for a great day!

The experience of this tour was incredible. Having chosen the tour with Guia Bruno was essential for the trip to be as it was. Spectacular! In addition to being friendly and attentive, we did the whole tour at a pleasant pace, was adapting the time and location of the stops according to our interest. Giving to know to know each point very well, taking pictures, staying contemplative. I also liked very much that the bruno shares the information and stories of the places we were visiting. I highly recommend!

Well what about the tour was really interesting and Bruno a really prepared guide. The day was wonderful because the good weather (sun) allowed us to admire all the colors of the island. The view from the “Pico do Ferro” leaves you breathless! In addition, I was lucky enough to be able to swim in the spa of the "Parque Terra Nostra" that had just reopened after the closure for Covid-19. (I recommend bringing an old costume and towel because after swimming they are to be thrown away). A very positive note also for the very famous “Cozido” which is really delicious! In the afternoon before returning there is time for tea at one of the only two European tea plantations. I highly recommend this tour!

I was a little bit hesitant about buying booking through Into The Wild as they weren’t on the official Azores website BUT I am so glad that I did. I was only in São Miguel for 4 days so I wanted to see as much as I could. However, I visited mid March and while I was there things were starting to be closed down by the Government due to covid. Bruno kept in contact and picked me up on time in an immaculately clean minibus. I was surprised that I was the only one on the tour as others had cancelled. It speaks a lot as to how professional that Bruno is that he didn’t cancel my trip too. Bruno explained that some places would be closed but that we’d take our time and anywhere I wanted to stop to look at or take photograph stop let him know. I was able to leisurely stop at some amazingly viewpoints and just spending time appreciating the island. Unfortunately Furnas and that spas were closed but I was still able to have an incredible lunch that had been cooked in the ground. Thanks to Bruno’s local knowledge, I was able to spend time dipping my feet in a mini-spa next to a river so I didn’t entirely miss out. Bruno is very knowledgable and passionate about São Miguel. I always like to support an independent company where I can and wholeheartedly I can say that I will be back to take further tours with Bruno. Cannot recommend enough.
