What To Expect
Located between the Acropolis and the Ilissos river, the colossal Olympeion was one of the greatest ancient temples of Zeus and one of the most famous marble buildings in the ancient World. We will talk about the Temple and its stories from the outside.

5.00Really great and informative tour! Would highly recommend. There is a fair amount of walking (about 10k steps) and some uneven/slippery surfaces. Wear appropriate shoes and it gets warm so bring water. Enjoy!!

5.00Fantastic guide, lots of colourful fun information. The walk itself was well paced (slowish) but still a challenge for me with not the greatest fitness. Well worth the effort. If booking sturdy shoes and lots of water a must. Go as early as possible to avoid the crowds

5.00The Alternative Athens tour with our tour guide Alex was the absolute best!!! Me and my friends went in thinking it would be fun to get an overview of all the sites of ancient Athens and Alex was incredible to talk to and had so much to share about the different sites. I would even sign up to do it again if I come back to Athens it was that great. 10/10 recommend- he also did an awesome job with the kids/families that were on the tour and kept everyone very engaged!
