Morning 7:00 : Our tour guide will pick you up by car at your hotel , transferring you to Lang Son. We will start by driving in the direction of the Chinese border for about 3 hours, Chi Lang Pass - a 20-km-long gorge created from a narrow valley between two mountains. This place occupies an important position in Vietnamese history, being the place of many victories against various Chinese invasions over the centuries and millennia, as far back as 981AD. As such it bears the reputation of Vietnam’s strongest citadel and bastion.

9:00 : Short break at Hoi Que reststop Afternoon 10: 00: Stopping to visit Mother’s Temple 11 : 00: lunch at a local restaurant in Dong Dang 12:00 you will continue your trip into the pass 14: 00: stop to visit Dong Khe– an important historical site where The Battle of Dong Khe was fought during the First Indochina War. Once you’ve finished at the falls, it’s time to head over to Nguom Ngao Cave, for a very different, but no less impressive natural wonder. The cave stretches for 2,144 meters underground and is brimming with incredible stalactites and stalagmites. Continue to visit Bản Giốc Pagoda is a charming Buddhist temple situated in the picturesque countryside of Northern Cao Bang, Vietnam. Renowned for its unique architecture and its proximity to the breathtaking Ban Gioc Waterfall, it stands as a tranquil oasis in this natural wonderland.

Morning After breakfast we’ll kick the final day of the tour of by boarding a boat and setting off onto the lake. It’s up to you how to spend your time on the boat, whether it’s relaxing and enjoying the views or going for a swim in the cool waters to refresh yourself. The views consist of stunning karst formations all around you covered with patches of wild vegetation and a rich wildlife. The boat will then continue along the Nang River, giving you a chance to explore. Visit An Ma Temple and Ao Tien pond or kayaking ba be lake 11:00: time for lunch 12:00 Go back to hanoi Now that you’ve reached the end of your tour, you’ll be driven the roughly 230 kilometres back to Hanoi, with a stop at a tea plantation nestled among rolling hills. Once we arrive in Hanoi it is time to say farewell, having made lifelong memories and connections.

Thank you very much for organizing the tour at Ban Gioc Ba Be for our whole family. Son was available at all time and is very reassuring. The choice of hotels and sites to visit was perfect. The guide and driver were really friendly and professional. We learned a lot about the country with Authentic adventures. To do again.

The tour wasn't actually through this company, it was through Mr Linh's adventures, which was surprising to figure out. Some of the communication was not good though. The trip itself was great - day 1 a bit boring with a huge drive and not very interesting stops. Day 2 in the morning was amazing at the waterfall, the cave was fine too. I also like the home stay in the incense village, I wish we had more time to spend there. Day 3 Ba Be lake was incredible - this was the best accommodation too. The jungle house was so so great. The driving was a LOT, but it was incredible scenery and the bus was relatively comfy - however the driver was terrifying, overtaking on blind corners up hill. All in all it was a great experience - made wonderful by the scenery, nature and jungle house.

This tour was amazing! Thiep took such great care of us and his english was so good. He was so easy to communicate with and even helped us arrange transport after our tour back to Hanoi. Highlights was the Ban Gioc Waterfall with a boat ride and seeing the paper being made in a small town and meeting local families.
Don’t book with them. They’ll overcharge

Dealing with this company was an awful experience for me. They tried to overcharge me for a 2-day, one-night trip to the waterfalls by insisting that I book directly with them, rather than the Viator app. Minutes after I had booked the tour for $179 through Viator, I received a WhatsApp message from the company demanding that I cancel the booking or they would proceed to do so. They wanted to cancel the tour on the grounds that there was no space left through Aviator —though Viator confirmed this information was false—, and that my only option was to book directly with them and pay an additional $80. I contacted Viator, reported the incident, and they helped me to make other arrangements. Unprofessional. Irresponsible. Horrible customer service. Overall, bad for tourism. I would stay away from this company.

The tour was amazing! The guide was very accommodating and made us feel very taken care of the entire trip. Communication was great also. The driver was kind and got us to where we needed to go safely. We felt at home. They put us in a nice home stay and it was clean and comfortable. The views were breathtaking and very much worth the drive up there! Overall 10/10 experience! Would highly recommend.
