Our guide Rachel was amazing and provided a wonderful history about the region. We were hosted by the owners/family members at each winery and you can really see the passion they have for the land, what they do, and their traditions (especially with Denis). Highly recommended. My only regret is not doing a full day tour!

The wine tour was great and everyone enjoyed the wines! Our first location was at a smaller vineyard and the winemaker was very charming. I wish we had been able to explore the vines more but enjoyed it greatly still. The second stop was more of a store/shop and the winemaker there was on the phone with an issue for the duration of our visit but our guide talked us through all the wines. This was more of a rest at a table without a tour or any exploration which was a bit of a let down. Overall, we enjoyed it but wish it had been longer or more involved.

Lovely trip into the Beaujolais region from Lyon, with our lovely guide Rachel. Very interesting to meet an organic farmer and winemaker, and see the beautiful landscape.

We really enjoyed our half day Beaujolais wine tour. Our guide, Francois, was very knowledgeable and gave us excellent insight into the viniculture of the Beaujolais region. The winemaker, Mathieu (hope I’ve spelt his name correctly) being a 6th generation wine maker was wonderful sharing his knowledge and passion - we certainly enjoy each bottle of wine now thinking about the effort and skill required to make the wine.

I didn't have high expectations of Beaujolais wine. Happy to admit I was very wrong and it was delicious The tour guide was very informative as were the wineries. Thoroughly enjoyed this eye-opening tour and I will be on the lookout for Beaujolais in the future
