We guarantee 100% No Shopping Stops in our tours. When you check some other tours, if they don't mention no shopping, they MUST have commissioned based shopping stops as jade factory or tea ceremony. Even you don't see shopping related words in their itineraries or product introduction, it is indeed a shopping tour. Be sure to check out with them about the shopping stops and read reviews from their clients carefully to see what the real experience would be. By joining a shopping tour like that, your time spent on attractions will be shortened, and you will be pressured to buy overpriced items. Normally the so called jade factory or tea ceremony is the tourist trap. You have to stay there an hour or more for those travel agents to get the commission from the factory stores. If you prefer to enjoy the tour thoroughly, you are suggested to choose a tour without any annoying shopping stops just like ours.
Entrance tickets of the Forbidden City are usually released online 7 days in advance and could be easily sold out. Kindly advise you to book the tour 8 days before since the ticket purchase is based on the real name policy. If you book the tour within 7 days before departure, you need to line up at the entrance to buy the tickets. Since it is only for international travelers, so you need to do it by yourself. Your tour guide will let you know how to do it and give you cash.
We offer free pick-up within the third ring road of the Beijing city. To ensure the morning pick-up going smoothly, we suggest you choose centrally located downtown hotels. The tour day was heavily rainy. The guide (Helena) contacted me a day before for items about the rainy day, and the passport. Also, she stayed at the pickup point (for me, it was at the hotel reception). She kindly described the situations that we will pick up other people step by step, and the tour schedule. Because of the crazy heavy rain and winds, my umbrella was broken as well. However, she tried her best to take care of us by selecting shortcuts and communicating with us a lot to check our condition. Furthermore, she contacted the company to get support for raincoats because of the bad weather. Although it couldn't be supported because it was urgent and out of her boundary, I understood her situation and felt thankful for her support. Her English communication was awesome, so she could understand all other tour attendees' requests and questions, although they're from different countries. Thanks to her advice on the travel, we could enjoy the tour a lot! If my friends, who can speak English, want to have a tour in Beijing, I would like to recommend the tour with the guide in the future!

Helen was very nice and informative. Made our first time in China great and she spoke really good English. She explained everything well and was very friendly too. I wasnt feeling well from the long plane ride the day before the tour and she made sure I was feeling okay throughout the day. Thanks again Helen for making this trip worthwhile.

I have made booking on 1st May but I was unwell and requested to change my booking to 2nd May. Agent Moon managed to change my booking with no default charges. Tour guide Mary is very efficient and experience. Very helpful and patient. She has brought lots of fun & laughter throughout the tour and making sure everyone was not left out.
