We guarantee 100% No Shopping Stops in our tours. When you check some other tours, if they don't mention no shopping, they MUST have commissioned based shopping stops as jade factory or tea ceremony. Even you don't see shopping related words in their itineraries or product introduction, it is indeed a shopping tour. Be sure to check out with them about the shopping stops and read reviews from their clients carefully to see what the real experience would be. By joining a shopping tour like that, your time spent on attractions will be shortened, and you will be pressured to buy overpriced items. Normally the so called jade factory or tea ceremony is the tourist trap. You have to stay there an hour or more for those travel agents to get the commission of about US$30 per head from the factory stores. If you prefer to enjoy the tour thoroughly, you are suggested to choose a tour without any annoying shopping stops just like ours.
The itinerary schedule or sightseeing order may be adjusted according to the traffic on the tour day.
We offer free pick-up within the third ring road of the Beijing city. To ensure the morning pick-up going smoothly, we suggest you choose centrally located downtown hotels. If your hotel is beyond our free pick-up range, you may need to get to a meeting point or pay extra for the pick-up. Your travel consultant is ready to help.
Group Size: About 12 people. There are chances that 10% of the tour groups will exceed 12 people but we will make proper arrangements.
Since the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, this tour designer carefully choose the morning visit to the Summer Palace instead of Tiananmen Square & the Forbidden City if your travel date happens to meet Monday.

Very fun tour. We enjoyed the day a lot, and our host Rocky was well organised and great to work with.

This was our first experience with paying for a guided tour but it won’t be our last. Although there were weather related snafus, we really enjoyed the tour and would do it again. Helen was a fantastic tour guide - she went out of her way to be helpful and proactive. We LOVED having earpieces to hear her instructions and explanations of the sites we visited. We could hear her clearly even from fifteen feet away. She is extremely knowledgeable and gave us wonderful insights into the history and culture. She also knew the places well, guiding us past the crowds and helping us with entry when it’s typically a bit difficult due to the language barrier. Because of weather closures, we ended up going to the Summer Palace and Badaling Great Wall instead of Forbidden City and Mutianyu, but these were still breathtaking experiences.

This was one of the first activities we did in China and was an amazing experience. Kevin our guide was fantastic - we loved his sense of humour, enthusiasm, and how he told us stories that brought the past and culture to life. He was very organized and kept our group together, giving us options for lunch and changing plans as needed. The Forbidden City tour was great - he took us through the crowds to show us the main sites and although the site was crowded, having Kevin to guide us around made it a really easy, fantastic experience. Our visit to the Great Wall was amazing - we went to a quiet section and had moments on the wall where we did not see anyone else! The location for the visit was great - you have the option (not included in the price) to take a cable car, or chair lift up, and then either of those or a slide back down the mountain. Again, we had plenty of time and it did not feel rushed. Finally, Kevin made sure everyone knew how to get home after a visit to the Hutongs (we chose to stay and explore this vibrant part of Beijing). Highly recommended!

Firstly, this tour was well paced with a relatively convenient time for each site. However, our group had 14 people, which is 50% more than hhe number published. Our guide, Kevin, was capable and informative. Major disappointment was when we were asked to choose about cable car / cable chair for the Great Wall. We responded with cable car, considering we brought our 73 yo mother. However, he booked cable chair for all of us. His replied simply indicated that it was for HIS OWN CONVENIENCE. Then, what is the purpose of asking and giving choice? Did he consider the condition of a 73 yo lady? With this lapse, i only can offer two stars.
