First of all, Jenny & Mr Lee are awesome. Lee made sure we were picked up on time and even came inside the hotel to greet us, even though the original plan was to meet us on the corner away from our hotel. Drive was smooth, no issues. Jenny was the first person we had met who spoke great english and wanted to make sure we had the best time! She was helpful, lovely and the best tour guide we've had! She offers you her recommendations but at the end of the day, just wants you to pick the option that'll make your trip the happiest. Whenever we went through security, she was always watching us and guiding us to make sure we all stuck together! We were taken to a tea house and got to experience our first tea ceremony, which was so interesting and delicious! Thank you Jenny & Mr Lee for being our tour guide and driver for the day! Hopefully see you at the next trip! 🩷

We had an amazing time on our Beijing tour with our guide, Jenny. The itinerary covered all the must-see highlights, Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall at Badaling. Everything was very well organized from start to finish. Jenny was knowledgeable, friendly, and spoke clear, fluent English. She explained the history and stories behind each site in a way that was easy to understand and engaging. At the Forbidden City, she helped us appreciate the significance of the different halls instead of just walking through a “big palace.” At the Great Wall, she also gave us free time to explore and take photos at our own pace. We didn't really get much time at the Great Wall, but that was kind of the pur own fault for taking too long at some areas. We also got to visit a jade factory and a tea appreciation shop. Jenny explained the cultural background of jade in Chinese history and how to tell real jade from fake. The tea session was relaxing and informative, and we got to try several types of traditional Chinese tea. What made the tour special was Jenny’s warm personality and attentiveness. She was always checking on us, helping with photos, and making sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the day. If you’re visiting Beijing and want a stress-free, informative, and enjoyable tour, I highly recommend booking with Jenny. This was truly a highlight of our trip!

  • ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unforgettable Beijing Day Tour with Jenny – A Perfect Experience

We booked a full-day tour covering Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, a tea ceremony, the Jade Temple and the Great Wall of China (Badaling), and it turned out to be one of the most memorable days of our entire trip. Our wonderful guide Jenny picked us up right on time at 7:45am from our hotel. We were joined by a fantastic group of travellers from Australia, Brazil and Saudi Arabia, which made the whole day even more fun and social. Our first stop was Tiananmen Square, where security was extremely thorough, with two levels of passport and body checks. Jenny guided us smoothly through the process and shared fascinating historical information about the square and the surrounding government buildings, including China’s Parliament House and its importance for visiting world leaders. We then continued on to the Forbidden City, where Jenny really brought history to life. She explained the story of the last emperor, how the emperor, empress, children and concubines lived, and how every area had a specific purpose – from where the emperor studied to where official meetings and royal dinners were held. Walking through such an incredible place with her detailed explanations made it so much more meaningful. Next was the tea ceremony, where we tasted several beautiful teas including Oolong, Ginseng, Jasmine, Pu-erh and fruity teas. We enjoyed it so much we purchased some ginseng tea and other varieties to take home. After that we visited the Jade Temple, where we learned that jade is China’s most important stone. Watching skilled craftsmen carve jade into intricate sculptures was truly special — it really is an art form. We even bought jade bracelets as a keepsake. Lunch was served upstairs and included stir-fried vegetables, noodles, calamari, rice, Chinese cabbage, chicken, tofu soup and even chips — everything was delicious and very filling. Then came the highlight — The Great Wall of China at Badaling. After a short bus ride, we took the cable car up, and once we stepped onto the wall the temperature dropped to around –3°C! Rugged up and excited, we walked together along the wall, up and down the incredible ancient steps. It was one of the most breathtaking and unforgettable experiences of our lives. My husband Daniel and our daughter Aarushi even braved one of the steepest sections while I cheered them on from above! Through the entire day, Jenny was absolutely amazing — warm, bubbly, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. She made everyone feel comfortable, kept the group organised, and shared China’s history in a way that was easy to understand and engaging. We cannot recommend Jenny highly enough. She truly made this tour special, and thanks to her, this day will stay in our hearts forever. If you are visiting Beijing, do not hesitate to book a tour with Jenny — you will have an incredible experience! 🌟
