What To Expect
Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
After picking you up from your centrally located hotel in Beijing in the morning, you will start your day trip by visiting Tian'anmen Square, the world’s largest public square. Explore the sites around the square with opportunities to take some amazing pictures.
Forbidden City-The Palace Museum
Then you will spend a couple of hours wandering around the magnificent Forbidden City which is an amazing example of Imperial architecture, and you will learn about the history and stories of the palace. Forbidden City, also known as the Palace Museum, and Gu Gong in Chinese, lies at the city center of Beijing, and once served as the imperial palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368 - 1911AD). There is another option: just purchase the entrance ticket to Forbidden City. You can use your passport to enter.

5.00We had a full day with Edward and he did an amazing job teaching us about all the sites in the Summer Palace, Tiananmen Square, and The Forbidden City. We also had a great lunch. We were lucky to have such a great guide that was so thoughtful and really wanted us to have a great experience. I would absolutely recommend this tour, and especially Edward, if you want to learn about these historical areas and get the best pictures.

5.00Fantastic day with CatherineLuTours and a magnificent driver, Mister Lu and our amazing guide Justin. We were picked up punctually at our hotel and the car was very spacious and comfortable. Mr Lu and Justin made us feel at home immediately and the day just got better as we visited the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven. Justin was knowledgeable and efficient and we really had a fantastic day. I would highly recommend this team and this company.
