Explore four authentic eateries and try a variety of delicious dishes each one with its roots steeped in tradition. Local cheeses to fluffy gnocchi, spicy salami and smoked hams to traditional foods eaten everyday by locals. Innovative main courses such as tender sliced beef with chef's secret potatoes.

Taste a selection of wines from the Campania region and discover your favourite during our mini wine tasting. Linger over desert served with a modern twist and an after dinner cocktail. A memorable night filled with lots of fun, laughter and good food and wine. Thanks to Lee for the lovely tour and sharing her knowledge and best eateries in Sorrento. It was the highlight if our trip and an extra bonus we made new friends. ❤️

We met Vanessa and followed her to four lovely establishments. We went to a funky wine bar that was to much more than that. We tried numerous Italian comfort fishes paired with generous “tastings” of wine. Then we went to a more local, normal (i.e., not fancy) place that we’ve interesting pasta dishes we’d never have tried but d ad m do glad we did. Even the house dine was good! Then we went to steak! It was fantastic and the sides were to die for. And lord wine. And desert. And limoncello. It was SO much good and drinks and fun stories too. Then we ended the night with a casual nightcap and more socializing. A fun way to experience non touristy food in Sorrento. Definitely go!

Our Progressive Food and Wine Tour with Leigh from the Gourmet Girls of Sorrento was nothing short of magical! From the moment we met Leigh, it felt like reconnecting with an old friend. She radiates warmth, passion, and joy , the kind of energy that instantly makes you feel at home. Meeting her son was such a touching moment for me; I actually teared up because our boys are the same age, share so many of the same mannerisms, and even look alike! It was such a beautiful, unexpected connection that made the experience feel deeply personal. The other couple on our tour, from Ireland, were absolutely a dream! We laughed, toasted, and shared stories throughout the night ,and left with new friends we’ll treasure forever. Now… let’s talk about the food and wine — oh my goodness! Every stop was perfection. From Officina 82 Wine Bar- the tapas and wine that kicked off the evening, to the perfectly cooked pasta at the next stop, and then… O.M.Y. — that melt-in-your-mouth steak, it was DIVINE! Every dish was paired beautifully, every sip of wine a delight, and every bite told a story of Sorrento’s passion for flavor and hospitality. This experience wasn’t just a food tour , it was an unforgettable night filled with laughter, connection, and pure joy. Leigh and the Gourmet Girls have truly created something special. If you’re in Sorrento, do not miss this!

The best food experience we have had!! Vanessa took us to the local restaurants with the most incredible, delicious food and drinks. She was funny, pleasant and our group had such an amazing time. One of the best nights of our 3 week trip in Italy! 5+++++ stars!

Wow, what an outstanding evening of food, wine, and fantastic company! Easily the best food tour we’ve been part of so far. It was a fabulous way to kickoff our time in Sorrento and the surrounding area. First the food, every dish at every stop was delicious. Each restaurant specialized on something different. I will definitely look up Rita’s recipes online and make them (or attempt to) at home. .We were stuffed, not to mention the flowing wine and great food pairings. We ended the evening at Vanessa and Lee’s favorite bar and enjoyed excellent night caps of coffee martinis and limoncello. Vanessa and Lee were exceptional hosts: warm, genuine, attentive, informative, and simply fun to be around! Not only did we learn about the food but stories about the people behind them. We had a really neat group of folks with us during our tour from the US and Australia. Everyone was friendly and the conversation flowed as easily as the wine. My family and I enjoy meeting new people, and love getting to know a new place through its local food scene; the Gourmet Girls are excellent at what they do and did not disappoint. Talk about excellent value for the money! We will certainly recommend this food tour to all our friends and family because it was a memorable experience for all the right reasons. This was our 2nd tour with The Gourmet Girls and it was just as wonderful as the first time! We were a group of 9. Our host Vanessa and Lee took us to 4 local places to try different foods, from tapas,pasta,steak,dessert and after dinner drinks. Everything was delicious and served with wine. Vanessa and Lee are very knowledgeable about the food and wine. If you want to try places off the beaten path and not tourist traps this is the tour for you!
