5.00Although it’s an hour + bus ride the Tuscany country views on the way there are beautiful and the bus was very comfortable. Natalie was very sweet and informative throughout the day, as well as who she arranged as a guide for us in Florence. It was a fast paced day and we wish we would’ve had a little more time in Florence to shop and see the city.
Horror experience at Pisa

1.00The tour guide and not tour was the problem. She didn't care and wait for all the guests of her group to begin with. Put we had the worst experience of our life when she , the tour guide left us behind at Pisa. We were told to meet at 5:10 at a meeting point . We were there at 5:09 pm. She greeted us with smile and asked where others in the group were. Apparently we were the first ones there of bus full of group. It was not a crowded area. Since we had we few mins,( at least that is what we thought) We turned our back to browse at the street vendor. We were not it the shop but on the street. That too not more than 5-8 mins. We when we turned our backs the guide had disappeared. We believe that she INTENTIONALLY left us there. She knew we were to be in time at the port for the Holland America cruise ship. We tried to reach the bus stop but the bus has already left to our horror. We had to manage to get the Uber taxi who agreed to take us to the port. Holland America made the arrangement to let him bring us the ship. It was a horror experience which caused so much anxiety, stress and few hundred Euros. The bus we too left at 9:30 am . I don't remember the name for the female guide but the driver s name was George. I hope your company takes care of these kind of mismanagement so that no other travel has to go through what we went through.

5.00Wowza! Florence was stunning. Duomo was beautiful, very crowded and full of vendors but I guess it’s expected this time of the year. August. Pisa was unbelievable we had enough time to explore have some gelato take lots of pictures before returning to the shuttle and heading back to the port. Tour guide would take us to the meeting point allow us some time to explore and return to shuttle. Very smooth and very secure to be back in time so you don’t miss your return time to the ship!
