It is a traditional village on the French Basque coast. It has a very large and beautiful bay. It is also a famous village for its Labortan architecture and for housing the church of Saint Jean Baptiste where Louis XIV of France was married with Maria Teresa from Spain.

5.00Wonderful day heading north towards Biarritz. Casper our tour guide took us along the coast and we made two stops before we arrived in Biarritz. We had a wonderful lunch by the water.

5.00We had a wonderful day with Alex! It was one of the highlights of our trip. We enjoyed the cute town of San Jean de Luz- there was great shopping in the village! Biarritz was also lovely. We would definitely recommend and would take a trip with Alex again!

5.00Had a lovely day out with Mikel…very wet start but comfortable car and lots of spare umbrellas! Mikel knew exactly where to go to ensure we saw lots of different parts of Biarritz and the two other lovely Basque villages. Very full day but taken at our pace and included a lovely meal at lunchtime. Much more interesting going with Mikel who is a native of the Basque Country and could answer all our questions.

5.00Alex was a wonderful tour guide and took us to places we would have never known to go visit - which were beautiful! I wish we had more time for shopping in some of the towns but we had to stay on track to make all the stops and have time for lunch in Biarritz. He even arranged a surf lesson for our kids with the last stop in San Sebastian (near our hotel). Well worth the money spent!
