What To Expect
Bike rentals are available for 3-hour periods: Morning: 8:45 am - 12:00 pm Afternoon: 12:15 pm - 3:30 pm We take pride in being the sole provider of Fat Tire E-Bikes within the National Park, offering you the opportunity to effortlessly explore the park's roads and trails with ease. Please respect all Park Rules and Regulations, as renters are responsible for adhering to them. You may be riding on the roads with cars. Please keep this in mind when booking rentals. This is a thrilling experience that will leave you with lasting memories! Our bikes are powerful and user-friendly, and we provide a demonstration video prior to your rental, making them accessible even if you're not experienced with E-Bikes. Enjoy the convenience of never searching for a parking spot while you are inside the park and navigate the park faster than both cars and pedestrians. You'll have the chance to visit all the top park spots efficiently thanks to our exceptional E-Bikes! For this rental, we recommend intermediate or better bike riders, and please note that your inability to ride our bicycle does NOT qualify for a refund. You are renting a bike after all. Please be aware that the E-Bike Rental fee does NOT cover the Park Entrance Fee. You can use your National Parks pass, Active Military ID, or pay the park entrance fee at the park's entrance. Here is your meeting spot for your E-Bike Rentals. -Old School Directions (works every time) From Highway 11 (Hawaii Belt Road) Turn up PiiMauna Dr in Volcano – This road is just off the highway south of the National Park Entrance. Take the ‘S’ turn up about 50 yards and take your first right before the golf course. It is a narrow road and we are on your right on that corner across the street from the golf course in Volcano. 4.00Bike seat for daughters bike pitched forward so had to go back and exchange wasting time. Weather was horrible so we should have canceled. That is on us. Got drenched and quit esrly. Didn't enjoy it. Wish there was a mirror, couldn't see if car behind me.

5.00What a fun experience! We loved riding the Fat Tire e-bikes at Volcanoes National Park. My bike was brand-spanking’ new and was a delight to ride! It performed well above my expectations. Lindsay was so friendly and helpful at the meeting location. I highly recommend this!

5.00So much fun !! Loved the rush and excitement that comes from riding a e-bike. Great service Bill the man explains the bike so thoroughly and gave great instructions. However wish I would have brought a map with me, take a map for self tour!!!

5.00Julie was a great guide, lots of insightful information that we appreciated! I wouldn't recommend this to someone who is not comfortable on a heavy geared bicycle. There was a senior Customer who toppled over on the bicycle during the warm-up in the parking lot before we even started and had to drop out from trip.
Excellent fun with exercise and learning as a bonus

4.00You’ll need to know this to find the group - if you’re arriving from the Hilo side, the group will be located RIGHT BEFORE the lodge on your right. If you make it to the lodge, you've gone too far and need to turn around and make the first left! Other than the confusing directions, this activity was a ton of fun and Derek was an excellent guide full of enthusiasm and knowledge. Make sure you grab yourself a couple of bottles of water and some snacks BEFORE the ride starts or you’ll be without as they pack it all up and didn’t seem to offer any following the ride! The bikes have saddle packs so you can store your phone/water/snacks/wallet/keys in there.

3.00The fatbikes were awesome. We biked 3 hours almost non stop on volume 1 used all capacity . Great way to see volcano park. The helmets were very smelly, not cleaned from previous clients . Can be better.
