Victoria, the capital of British Columbia, is located on gorgeous Vancouver Island and is considered one of the world’s most beautiful cities. It is famous for the historic Empress Hotel, the Parliament buildings and beautiful Butchart Gardens. Upon leaving Vancouver, you will take a scenic ferry ride from the Vancouver mainland through the Gulf Islands to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island. From here, you will have a driving tour to Victoria, and of Victoria’s downtown area featuring the Fisherman’s Wharf, the Inner Harbour, The Fairmont Empress Hotel, Mile 0 and the historic Chinatown. There will be free time to explore downtown Victoria at your own pace. Then on to the internationally renowned Butchart Gardens. Today the garden showcases 55 acres of themed garden displays, including a Japanese Garden, Italian Garden and Rose Garden. Wind down your day with the scenic return sailing aboard BC Ferries and then back to where your tour began.

Please meet us at Canada Place for a fun-filled daytrip to Victoria. Your bus and tour guide will be waiting for you.
We depart Vancouver and drive south through the city and passed farmlands before we arrive at Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal where you will board the BC Ferries.

3.00The tour description needs more detail. The majority of time is spent in a big ferry with tons of people and then in a van to drive you around. The time spent in Victoria was about 2 hours. Just enough time to get lunch and barely walk around. Butchardt Gardens are beautiful yet again it takes hours to finally get there. Ian was our tour guide. He is very knowledgeable. He tells a few too many jokes. Last time we visited Victoria, we took the sea plane. We would go that way again instead of the ferry and tour bus.

We enjoyed both places and I have to say the Tour Guide was superb, her knowledge, explanations, hints n tips were all first class and undoubtedly helped make the tour such a resounding success. 5.00This was a beautifully planned excursion, from beginning to end. Great bus leader explained the day well. First, we were picked up by bus and driven to the Ferry and right onto the Ferry Boat with the bus! This made it so convenient for us to leave things on the bus and walk around the boat and watch the scenery go by. Next we drove across Vancouver Island to Victoria, where we had time to see the Parliament Building, and dine on our own at the Empress Hotel. Finally we enjoyed the amazing Butchart Gardens and the return trip to Vancouver.
