  We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Capri. The blue grotto was worth the one time experience. Our early arrival allowed us to not have to wait to get in. We especially enjoyed our boat ride around the island. The weather was not ideal. But captain Marco did an excellent job to make it as pleasant as possible. The on land portion was as good as could be expected for a very wet day. Spectacular scenery!

  We truly enjoyed our Shared Tour of Capri with Captain Marco and Antonio. Marco is an outstanding captain and Antonio is an excellent first mate and guide. Both were friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. They were prompt in picking us up at Marina Grande, Sorrento. They brought us to the Blue Grotto but is was closed so we cruised around the island stopping at many landmarks. Antonio provided information / stories for each landmark. We were then dropped off at Marina Grande, Capri for 4 hours of independent exploration. Captain Marco and Antonio were again prompt in picking us up. We cruised by the Blue Grotto again to see if it was open but unfortunately it was not. We then had some time to swim which was amazing! This tour is a perfect way to visit Capri from Sorrento! I would definitely recommend!

  Overall feedback is the trip was enjoyable. Weather was not cooperating but not something anyone can control We arrived as #2 at the Blue Grotto however the skippers for the small boats were late - Our captain Damian counterproposed a plan to visit the other grottos and then return to the blue grotto. By then rain was starting to fall - damian took care to ensure we all stayed safe, stayed dry. We did return to the blue grotto - Damian got the attention of the skippers to ensure we got to visit inside the grotto. We made good time and landed at Capri town (marina grande) to roam around - gave good advice since it was raining that 6 of us share a taxi to get into the city the city centre. Everyone was back to meet Damian by 3:05-10pm. Again made good time in the rain back to homebase.

  We had a wonderful day on our tour to Capri with our captain Damiano. Our group numbered 6, which was a nice small number. Damiano expertly guided us (with patience, as there was high demand) through the Blue grotto experience. He gave great advice as to how to best use our free time on the island. He was very welcoming and answered kindly all of our questions—it was a beautiful perfect day weather-wise so that was a plus! I would recommend this tour and Damiano highly! Thank you also for all of your prompt and helpful answers to my emailed questions previous to the tour date! Very professional service while also laid back, casual and fun! Thank you!

  I had a lovely day touring Capri and meeting people from all over the world. The best part of the Island is AnaCapri - very pretty. Must see the Villa.

  My wife and our two friends went with Captain Marco and his team to Capri. Well worth it, really cool sights and C. Marco kept us informed on what we were seeing, let us swim, got into the blue grotto and had refreshments for us during the cruise. Plenary of time on Capri to see the highlights and have lunch.   We had a wonderful Capri tour with Captain Marco and Antonio! It was a highlight of our trip, particularly the chance to swim in the Mediterranean. They provided a smooth ride, showed us the highlights of the island, and adapted well to changing circumstances to make it a great experience. Although the Blue Grotto was closed due to high water, they took us to another cave that showed the same turquoise effect without the long wait.

  I booked this trip with a recommendation from Rick Steves. This tour did not disappoint. We had the most incredible time. It was the perfect amount of a guided tour around the island with ample personal free time on the island. Captain Marco and his assistant Adriana did a wonderful time explaining all of the sites, and the sail around the island and from Sorrento were great. We loved the free time swimming in the ocean. The pick up and drop off arrangements were easy. Thank you for such a wonderful day!

  We enjoyed this tour. Having a guide and a driver really takes the stress off when you are packing so much into limited time. Patty, our guide, is excellent. It is hard to say enough about how she added to our experience. We really appreciated her knowledge, her true passion in story telling, and her ability to navigate crowds. One comment, we did have trouble finding her at the start of the morning. We were at the “meeting point” indicated in the instructions. She had no sign with our name or logo, ”share tours”, of your company (as the instructions indicated). Our phones were on airplane mode (that being our mobile plan). It was chance (another guide pointed her out) that we found her. The best part of the tour was the boat ride around the island. We were unprepared for swimming. As this was not fully explained in the written instructions. Wear your bathing suits. The boat will stop for a brief swim if you would like. But know that does cut the time from your day in town. The Blue Grotto was closed on our tour day. That made things easy for my family. We did not want to waste time in-line. However the other family on our tour boat that day indicted that they wanted to do the grotto if it was available. I’m not sure how that would have worked. I believe we would have stopped and had to wait. So just be prepared. In town, Patty navigates crowds, points out the public restrooms, and guides you through the towns so you feel like you get the most you can in the day. She will suggest a place to grab a quick lunch but we had brought a sandwich as the instructions had suggested. Our time with Patty and her stories are a highlight of our trip to Italy.

  Giovanni and his son were incredible. We were scheduled to do the blue grotto, but the weather did not cooperate. Instead we did a trip around the full island and it was even better. We still swam in the green grotto. There was lots of caves that Giovanni masterfully fit the boat into. Lots of cool local knowledge from Giovanni as well. Do it!
