We had a wonderful evening in Pina's apartment cooking together (there were only two of us). Pina is a wonderful hostess and cook who likes to pass on her knowledge. In addition to various antipasti (crostini), we made a pasta dough and formed busiates from it. Pina had already prepared a delicious sauce of artichokes, guanciale etc. We also conjured up a super delicious tiramisu and prepared frittelle di rucola. We were also offered prosecco and wine. It was a great experience in a beautiful apartment with stunning views over Palermo overlooking Monte Pellegrino. We gained new experiences and recipes and ate very delicious. Pina is a very lovable person. We can recommend the cooking class with Pina without restriction!

I booked this pasta making class for myself, my husband, 2 kids and their spouses. We had the best time making 2 different types of pasta and our own personal tiramisu. This class was in our host's personal home. Alice and her partner (sorry can't remember his name) were so welcoming, genuine and so nice. We had a lot of fun with them. Once all the pasta was cooking and the tiramisu was chilling, they set us up in their living room with appetizers and Italian wine. We all sat down at their dining room table and had a delicious feast of the 2 different types of pasta, one with a pesto sauce and the other with a ragu sauce served with Prosecco. The fresh pasta and sauce were out of this world delicious. The tiramisu we made was wonderful. If you're ever in Palermo and find yourself with some extra time, I would highly recommend taking this pasta class with Alice. We booked this class through Viator.

Rosamaria (Messina) took us into her beautiful home and set up fantastic learning and eating experience and graciously exposed us to the warmth of Sicilian culture. We made busiate and Sicilian gnocci pasta and followed by making stuffed veal rolls (involutini alla romana) and then had a truly fabulous meal on her veranda. Rosamaria is so warm and friendly, and her cooking class is an incredibly nice way to learn about Sicilian cuisine and culture. Fabulous.

Wow! We were not sure what to expect, but it was not this. Alice was completely prepared for our arrival. All equipment and ingredients were ready to be assembled. She welcomed us into her lovely home with grace and courtesy. She showed us how to start the pasta with clear, thorough instruction on everything. She helped us make tiramisu while the pasta dough rested. Then, she showed us multiple types of pasta we could make and multiple ways to make each one. She explained, demonstrated, then let us begin. She was positive and encouraging throughout the experience. When all of the pasta was ready, including the raviolli that was the subject of much laughter, she cooked the pasta in the kitchen while we had aperatifs and cocktails she had prepared previously. We sat down to a meal together and had delightful conversation with laughter, wine, and the pasta that we were amazed had been prepared by our own hands. We never knew how much fun it was. Alice made it fun. We now plan to make pasta monthly just re-live the experience and remember the great time we had under Alice's guidance. Thank you so much, Alice! To anyone reading this - it was the best experience of our two week vacation in Naples, Palermo, and surrounding areas. We saw wonderful sights, but we could not stop talking about how much fun we had after spending the evening with Alice.

Alice and Francesco were the most lovely and personable hosts one could ask for. They had a lovely home and shared it with our small group while teaching us how to make the most delicious pastas! Making an authentic meal while in Palermo was a bucket list item for me, and this was the perfect way to achieve it. The food was delicious, the conversation was wonderful, and the hosts were very knowledgeable, but were also just an absolutely charming couple. If you’re looking to learn how to make authentic Sicilian dishes, you must try this. Thank you, Alice and Francesco, for sharing your home and hearts with us!

Alice and Francesco were amazing hosts! We loved their passion and knowledge for their heritage. They welcomed us with open arms into their lovely home and shared the three generations of family that has lived there. They inspired us to purchase the tools we used with them to be able to take what we learned back home to Indiana. We would highly recommend taking the opportunity to learn with them and get to know them better.

We celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday in Sicily and the pasta and tiramisu cooking course was a special birthday experience for my sister’s and my family together. It was a fantastic and unique experience. It completely surpassed our expectations. We learnt a lot and had lots of fun. We had 3 teenagers in the group and four adults, we all really enjoyed it. Rosa Maria was so friendly and welcoming and her Sicilian cookery knowledge made special memories for us. Highly recommend and thank you!

Had an amazing time learning how to make ravioli and cavatelli pasta from scratch, as well as tiramisu from scratch. I rarely cook at home, but this class made it easy for me to build cooking confidence as what they taught me to make turned out delicious. It was fun!
