There is a special cheese-tasting room where you can experience the character of Old Amsterdam cheese along with other unique Dutch cheeses. During a 1-hour tasting experience you will learn what it takes to become a real cheese-tasting master. You will find out how cheese is made and will be able to tell the difference between various kinds of cheese.

5.00This was a last minute addition to our trip to Amsterdam. Lovely host, delicious cheese and wine pairing. Educational and fun! I brought home all of the cheese that we tried. They sell the cheese provided for the tasting conveniently prepackaged so you can just grab them and check out. When leaving Amsterdam, airport security made me tear the packaging apart, so if you were buying the prepackaged selections as a gift you may need to do something creative when gifting, as all of the cheese will be loose rather than packaged together.
