The bus driver is also the tour guide, so his main focus is driving not storytelling. We spent at least 8 of 13 hours packed in a tight double decker bus with ~100 passengers. I’m only 5’ 5” and my knees hit the seat back, so it wasn’t very comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the Cliffs of Moher, Buren, and Galway, but we expected some guidance for what to do in each place and received none. We wasted half of the hour we got in Galway just trying to figure out which way to walk and getting lost on the way. The driver just let us out and stayed with his bus. We never got to see Doolin at all, which was disappointing, because it was one of the reasons we chose this tour instead of other options. We were very impressed with the speed and food quality of the restaurant where we did stop for lunch in Fanore, especially given it was literally the only restaurant in town. No bathrooms on the bus so we had to make rest stops on the way there and back, adding to the already long travel time. I recommend spending a bit more and getting a tour that offers more than just transportation from Dublin.

Disappointing Experience with Irish Day Tours I regret this tour - everything went wrong from the start. There was no proper greeting, and our guide/driver was difficult to understand due to his thick accent. He made little effort to engage with the group, and communication was poor throughout the day. The weather was unfortunate, and while rain is out of anyone’s control, the experience felt like a waste of time. After driving three hours to the Cliffs of Moher, visibility was nonexistent , and we couldn’t explore properly. On the way back, we stopped in Galway where we were simply told to return in 90 minutes - no tour, no background, no guidance. It felt like an empty stop rather than a meaningful experience. To top it all off, our driver didn’t even say goodbye. Compare to my previous experience with Viator in Spain - which was great- this tour was a mistake . I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a well organized, engaging experience.

It was a long day and the stops were sufficient and interesting. The bus was clean. Unfortunately the driver / tour guide was very hard to understand as he spoke in a monotone and often in a low voice. I would have enjoyed hearing something uplifting instead of all the bad stuff that's happened in Ireland.

It was a really good tour. As with all Viator tours I've been on (and that's quite a few) it was well organized and a good amount of stops. The Cliffs are beautiful which was even more enhanced by the amazing weather! Definitely recommend.

The experience was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed getting to see the Cliffs of Moher and going to Galway for a bit. Thank you for a great day!
