My husband and I had an amazing day with Leon. I can’t say enough about him. My husband has a disease that affects his balance and mobility. Many of the trips offered were not appropriate for him to enjoy. After reading many off the 5 star reviews on this day trip we chose it. The waterfall was beautiful! Walking down the steps and along the uneven path, Leon told my husband to use his shoulder for balance. Leon was so patient. We were there just as it opened. The Coffee and Chocolate tour was very educational and tasty! We learned much from Anna and Jennifer. At the Slothe park a wheelchair was offered. Once again Leon helped tremendously. Without him my husband would have missed so much. Lunch was a delicious Costa Rican meal. The butterfly house was fun too. The woman who operates it really loves her butterfly family. The blue butterfly is the National Butterfly of Costa Rica. It was an amazing day with Leon! Private tours are the way to go.

Our experience was great! Every part of it. Starting with the history, to the waterfalls, the Coffee and Chocolate education and lunch. I’ll stop there. Can’t wait to get back to Costa Rica and our new tour guide friends!

Fantastic tour! The coffee and chocolate experience was a ton of fun. Christopher knew everything there was to know about coffee and chocolate.! then the sloth experience was exceptional as well. We saw several sloths, toucans, snakes, and frogs. Dayvo was an incredible driver, guide and translator (when needed, which was rare) I highly recommend this experience for a relaxing afternoon in the rainforest

My friend and I had a WONDERDUL experience. My goal was to see a sloth. It was delivered fourfold! Our guide, Dayro, was thoughtful and knowledgeable. His SUV was clean, comfortable, and with AC. The day was just long enough. Coffee and chocolate was delightful. I'd add this side trip to your itinerary.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating for the entire trip. His driving skills are excellent when navigating traffic to ensure we return promptly, also. The entire experience was great and really educational. Not to mention the great pictures of wildlife we were able to get.

Anthony provided us with an amazing day exploring Costa Rica! The Llanos de Cortez Waterfall was beautiful and provided us with a refreshing start to our tour. Sloths Park did not disappoint especially with the trained eye of Anthony and our guide. Seeing sloths, monkeys, frogs and even a viper snake in their natural habitat were unbelievable. Finally, the coffee and cacao tour provided a great overview of this important economic activity complete with hands on demonstrations. You'll never have fresher cup of coffee or hot cocoa!

We had an amazing tour. Anthony was a great guide. Very informative and had everything we needed. We loved swimming near the waterfall and saw amazing wildlife. 4 sloths, monkeys, lizards, rare frogs. We loved how the tour was self paced and customizable. We were able to take more time at the attractions we enjoyed the most and then leave an activity when we were ready. Would highly recommended!

This tour was fantastic, and our guide Dayro was a huge part of it. It really felt like we were able to get out of the resort and see the real Costa Rica, from natural wonders to wonderful people to delicious food! Dayro was incredibly knowledgeable about the history and geography of the country and was even able to translate our rainforest tour for us. We were really excited to see some wildlife, and Dayro's sharp eyes and monocular meant we saw everything we wanted. He was as good as the on-site guide at finding sloths and other animals! We learned a lot, saw everything we were excited to see and had some delicious coffee & chocolate. The restaurant for lunch was also fantastic, and the butterfly garden there turned out to be another fun surprise. We can't recommend this tour, and Dayro in particular, enough!
