I booked this experience through GetYourGuide because a local recommended the app. Phong is a great tour guide. He is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and humorous. This trip was a day well spent. There was plenty of food, a variety of cultural experiences and a many friendly, hospitable people. Learning more about Saigon through this immersive experience was phenomenal. Additionally, the communication between the Kim Travel company and with the tour guide Phong was great prior to my experience. They responded immediately to my clarifying questions. While I was the only solo traveler on this tour, I felt at home thanks to Phong’s warm spirit and kind smile. Thank you Kim Travel and Phong for a great experience!

Tour started off with the option to be picked up at your hotel in certain districts or meet in district 1. Hubert was my tour guide for this trip. He took the time to explain things and was very knowledgeable. The cu chi tunnels is a must have experience if you are visiting Vietnam. The Mekong delta allows you to experience the slower pace life of the people that live on the delta. You get to travel by boat to the island like the people do. Then you also get to travel on smaller tow boats like the people use to move on the island. Definitely need to bring cash with you when you purchase things and also for tipping.

Ben was amazing from start to finish. He really knew his stuff about the Cu Chi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta, but what I loved most was how he explained everything in a way that felt simple and real. He shared history, local stories, and little details that made us feel like we were seeing things through a local’s eyes. And his sense of humor? Perfect. He had us laughing at all the right moments without ever trying too hard. It made the whole day feel light, fun, and genuinely memorable. If you want a guide who’s knowledgeable, easy to be around, and just naturally funny, Ben is the one. I’d totally recommend him.

We had a fun day out with our jolly guide Ben going to the Cu Chi tunnels and then down to the Mekong Delta for a boat ride and visit to the honey farm and coconut sweet factory. The whole international group bonded during the trip with Ben making sure we all had a good time. There was a lot of travelling in the minibus, but we got to see a lot of the Vietnamese countryside along the way. The lunchstop was really nice plus we got to sample fruits and various other foodstuffs and drinks along the way

It was a nice trip and Jacky was a great guide. The tour is a bit touristy, because in many local villages you get shown things that you should eventually acquire.
