We joined this activity on our last day of the trip and it ended up being one of my favorite experiences in Japan! The two girls leading the class were incredibly sweet and welcoming, they explained every step clearly and made the whole cooking process fun and relaxing. The atmosphere was super friendly, and even though I’m not great at cooking, they helped me make a really cute bento that I was actually proud of. It felt like spending an afternoon with new friends while learning something new ;)

We joined the kawaii character bento class with my girl friend and were surprised by how much fun it was to make everything as a team! With their bright smiles and energetic teaching style, the instructors kept the atmosphere lively from beginning to end! It became a playful bonding activity for us, and we left with adorable bentos and an even better mood!!

I joined the character bento-making experience and really enjoyed it! Some parts were a little challenging, but that made it even more fun. I tried using a tamagoyaki pan for the first time and was so happy that my rolled omelet turned out nicely. I also got to shave katsuobushi, which was such a unique experience. Even after some time passed, the obento I made still tasted delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful activity!
