Explore the ancient rainforests of the Daintree with a premium tour from Daintree Tours. Our mission is to showcase some of the highlights of this incredible natural wonder, with visits into the Daintree National Park, Mossman Gorge and a river cruise exploring the waterways rich in flora and fauna.

The northern section of the Daintree National Park is where the rainforest meets the reef and guests will have the opportunity to stroll along the magical beaches.

Half Day;

A guided walk through Mossman Gorge and an hour wildlife spotting tour along Daintree River, with lunch included and the option to enjoy your time at the Wildlife Habitat in Port Douglas (this option must be selected)

Suitable for all physical fitness levels

Minimum age is 4yrs for the Half Day and 7 years for the Full Day

We would thoroughly recommend the Daintree and Mossman whole day tour and especially with Pete. He was so knowledgeable about everything on the tour and also gave us great background information too. It was a pleasure to listen to him and he made the tour so enjoyable.

Excellent entertaining guide. He was certainly down on the detail of flora and fauna. Good driver too. Managed expectations well.

It was great getting to hear about the diversity and age of the rainforest. The species of plants there is impressive. Do not expect any large animals like you hear from the Amazon, this one needs to be appreciated in a different perspective. Understanding this unique biome was my favorite and the food, ice cream, and mossman's gorge were great add-ons. The cape of tribulation was a unique place to see and said I have gone to. The alligator tour was fun and relaxing, saw a few Crocs. Highly recommend.

The gorge was lovely, but we had rented a car, and could have gone on our own. It was nice to have a tour guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. But parts of the tour we had already done on other tours, and didn't realize there was overlap.

We had a wonderful time with our tour guide Dave. He was full of information, told great stories, was funny and entertaining. My only regret is not doing the full day tour. There's obviously so much more to see. We plan to return one day and enjoy a full day tour. I highly recommend it.
