Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park

Touring the forefront of tourism related to the Korean War The Bridge of Freedom, a symbol of the tragedies of the Korean War, is a temporary bridge with no architecturally noteworthy element but holds significance as a representative modern heritage that symbolizes the cold war through embodying the “return to freedom.” Steam Locomotive at Jangdan station, the area where the 1,020 bullets penetrated is like a honeycomb, and the exterior of the fire box is torn and crumpled. This is a painful wound between compatriots. Magbaedan Altar, which stands opposite of Imjingak, is famous for the place where people from North Korea visit and perform ancestral rites by bowing toward their hometown every New Years Day and Thanks Giving Day.

This was an amazing experience. We went with team Bill who was extremely knowledgeable and gave us incredible background on the history of the Korean conflict. His time management was great as we didn't feel rushed and were able to keep together as a group. He made the tour fun, solemn and relaxing even though it was a busy day. Highly recommend team Bill. He even stayed with two old ladies who were struggling to get back out of the 3rd tunnel. Thank you Bill

Very informative tour and Kane, the tour guide is highly knowledgeable on the subject matter. He treated the whole group as one team and we value his leadership and time management skills. He is thorough and very accommodating in all of our tour needs especially with ensuring there will be no problem with our trip even if we have lost our passports and we only have the immigration documents to present. He is really good tour guide!!!

I would strongly recommend this tour. Kane, our guide was friendly, organised and gave us in depth information about the DMZ and the history of Korea beyond what you would expect on a tour. As it was a smaller group, I felt very comfortable asking questions. It was a fascinating day made more enjoyable by our friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. We also enjoyed the chocolate snack!
