5.00A Royal Sicilian Home Experience with Angela and Her Amazing Family Dining in a real Sicilian home with Angela and her wonderful family was one of the most extraordinary experiences of our entire trip. It felt like stepping into the heart of Sicily authentic, warm, and full of tradition. All the ingredients came directly from their family land: organic vegetables, their own olive oil, and recipes passed down through generations. Every dish was full of soul and unforgettable flavor. We enjoyed a generous selection of cold and warm appetizers, followed by an incredible main course that truly represented the richness of Sicilian cuisine. The wine tasting was outstanding: four superb Etna DOC wines, each one with its own personality and story, perfectly paired with the food. We also tasted two exquisite extra virgin olive oils, both exceptional. To finish, they prepared a fresh cannolo filled on the spot with ricotta, and a delicious limoncello cream a moment we will remember forever. It wasn’t just a meal; it was a royal tasting experience, made even more special by the kindness and hospitality of Angela and her family. Absolutely recommended to anyone who wants to discover the real Sicily.

My family and I felt warmly welcomed, as if we were part of the family❤️ We ate incredibly well, every dish was made with fresh, organic, and authentic ingredients, full of local flavor. The Etna wines we tasted were top-quality, perfectly matching each course. Angela is a wonderful host, kind, passionate, and truly talented in the kitchen. We highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to discover the genuine soul of Sicilian cuisine.

Welcomed into the most beautiful home, getting to try lots of different authentic Sicilian food using local ingredients accompanied with locally produced wine that was so good we bought a bottle home. 5.00Very private, very good and very warm. After the warm welcome by Angela and her family, the prepared food was explained, as were the accompanying wines. All ingredients as well as the wines from family-owned cultivation. Very delicious and also very entertaining in a neat, modern Mood. Absolutely recommend!

5.00This is a true and unique experience to sample authentic Sicilian food in a real Sicilian home. The food was delicious and the portions very generous. Perhaps what struck us most was the generosity and hospitality of this Sicilian family. The entire family seemed to have played a role in our experience. The husband and son picked us up and took us to the home. The son, his friend, and Angela helped prepare all of the meals. You could easily see how much work and effort it took for our group of 10. The time and attention they took to prepare the food, present it, and explain the traditions was impactful. And what a display of food it was! It was a really nice break from all of the restaurants. No matter what menu you chose, come hungry!

4.00We were welcomed in to a beautiful Sicilian home by Angela and her lovely family for a traditional Sicilian meal. In terms of the experience, I would like to get some minor downsides out of the way first. Our understanding was that a traditional meal consisted of two main courses, a pasta dish and a fish or meat dish. However, following two (delicious) anti pasti courses, the main course consisted solely of a vegetarian pasta dish. Also, the wine that was served with each course provided little more than a taste rather than a small glass. I would also advise anyone booking this experience that a supplement applies to groups of fewer than four people. This came as a surprise to me as this clause on the English language site was written in Italian so I was unaware of it. There were so many positives that outweigh these minor issues though. Angela met us at the door and extended a warm, friendly greeting before showing us in to her beautiful home. We were introduced to her husband Salvo and two of her sons, Tano and Nicholas, who helped to serve the food and wine. We were given delicious homemade breads, including an olive and mushroom bread which was our personal favourite, as well as olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The first antipasti (cold) consisted of an array of cheeses, meats and pumpkin, with the second (hot) including a stuffed pepper, arancini and a meatball in a ragu sauce. Absolutely delicious. The pasta dish arrived next and we must admit that we didn't finish it as we were holding back for what we thought might be another (fish or meat) main. We finished with a dessert which we made ourselves under the guidance of Tano and Nicholas which was good fun. This was accompanied by a glass of cream of limconcello. The majority of ingredients were sourced locally, most from the family farm which we thought was a lovely touch. The wines were also from a local vineyard, including a delicious red from the family's own vineyard. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, one of the highlights of our trip, and we wish Angela and family all the best. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone considering it.
