Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park
Imjingak Peace Nuri Park, located in Paju, is an emblematic space of peace and reunification, where wide meadows and artistic sculptures combine in harmony. Visitors can feel the history of the division by its proximity to the DMZ and observe the North from the viewpoint. The park features the Windmill Hill, a concert stage, show pavilions and other attractions, making it an ideal place to walk and take pictures in the company of family, partner or friends.
Dora Observatory
The Dora Observatory, located in Paju near the DMZ, is one of the main tourist spots from where, on clear days, you can observe the North Korean city of Kaesong and Mount Songak. Inside there are exhibitions that recreate life in North Korea and show material related to the military field, allowing to experience in a vivid way the reality of division. Through telescopes, visitors can observe North Korean villages and broaden their understanding of the history and security of the peninsula.
