What is the DMZ – an exciting experience like no other
While the Cold War happened a long time ago, Korea is the only country that still remains divided as a consequence. The DMZ lies on the border between the North and the South. This is the most heavily fortified border in the whole world, so don’t miss the chance to see it!
OPTIONAL : Gondonla
Gondola tour is one of our most popular DMZ tours and can also be an excellent alternative to our DMZ Tour when political or military events restrict access to some of the stops on those tours.
OPTIONAL : Red Suspension Bridge
The Gamaksan Red Suspension Bridge is the longest suspension bridge in Korea at 220m long and 1.5m wide. It can hold up to 900 adults and is constructed to withstand 30 meters per second winds and earthquakes of up to 7 magnitude. Its stunning scenic views make it the perfect spot to capture beautiful photos, and it is always well-received.

A reasonable degree of fitness is required to experience the tunnel and suspension bridge but very interesting. Our guide Emily was brilliant, she had great knowledge and was extremely courteous and helpful.

This is a must do tour when you visit Seoul. Our guide Alex (MJ) is an amazing guide, he understood the time constraints involved in this particular tour with so many stops and working to keep our group of 31 people on time, informed and happy. He also shared his and his families personal experiences which helped put the info he shared to be more relevant. We had a great time and learned so much. Thank you Alex! Be ready to be an early riser as this tour can leave earlier than posted in order to get into the many stops due to high demand.

I had the privilege of visiting the DMZ, the Third Tunnel, and the Dora Observatory in October 2025. Emily, the guide of the group I joined, was absolutely wonderful. With her warmth and sincerity, she powerfully conveyed the pain caused by the Korean War, the delicate nature of the current peace process, and the deep longing to reunite families torn apart by a purely political divide. This is a place steeped in recent history that invites deep reflection — especially on the importance of having the freedom to shape our own future. Without a doubt, it’s a visit not to be missed. Thank you so much, Emily

The tour is very well structures and paced, covering all the must-see spots while providing valuable context and information. The best contribution came from our amazing tour guide Lina. Not only she provided comprehensive and clear explanations on the DMZ in a very engaging way, but was extremely helpful in every step of the way. 10/10 recommend!

Lina was very nice and kind throughout the entire tour. She has a lot of knowledge about Korean history and also drops a joke every once in a while. Finally she also was looking after the entire group all the time. This made us feel safe. Definitely recommend this tour!
