This was a really enjoyable day out and about exploring the north of the island. We were picked up at our hotel at 9am by Jack in a WW2 Willys jeep, this was a great experience on its own. The first stop was a silk shop and it was really interesting finding out about the process of harvesting the silk but then it was a little bit of a sales pitch in a room at the side but there was no pressure to buy, it was just awkward. The next stop was the pepper farm, I liked this, great to taste the difference in white, red and black. For little money you can buy bags to take home, this is good to support the locals. A quick stop further up the road to view Cambodia across the water which is very close. Short ride and we entered the national park for a bit of off-road although it was a road that's used. This was fun and we all had a chance to drive the jeep. We then drove to star fish beach and it was at this point we realised our daughters iPhone had dropped from the back of the jeep. Jack was great, back in the jeep and we went back to the national park to look for it and when we passed another tour bus they had it, happy days! Jack took us back to the beach and we continued where we left off, it didn't change our tour time at all. We had a nice relax on star fish beach which is beautiful but there is quite a bit of litter washed up along the back edge of the beach. It would be nice if there was some proactive action to clean this up, maybe give tourist the option to fill a small basket, if everyone did a little. Finally back to the fishing village for food, this was really good and tasty, loved the fresh scallops especially. Finally we headed back to our hotel. We had a great experience and Jack was super friendly, informative and spoke excellent English. It was a great fun way to see the island.

A very friendly and fun experience. A lot of interesting trips and locations. From a national park to a beautiful bee farm. The guy was amazing and full of energy, he told us everything we wanted to know and took us wherever we asked to! Definitely worth it!

The Jeep tour was great and a lot of fun!! Our tour guide Jack was also fantastic. Would highly recommend! The tour lasts the whole day and returns you to your accomodation in time for you to have a rest and then go do your evening activities.

Jack (or as we later called him Uncle Jack) picked us up. He drove us to the Silk factory, Pepper farm, took a boat with us to the Starfish beach, drove through the jungle - the whole deal. If you want to visit specific places, you could ask your guide to bring you there, but if you don't - they will take you to all the cool places. Jack even let me drive the jeep for a good portion of the jungle. Also, the jeep had coffee, beer, water or anything else. Truly an incredible experience since we got the opportunity to learn more about the things that most travellers just miss. Jack, being a true local helped us navigate, told us awesome stories, gave us a complete background for the jeep and the war, suggested cool activities to utilise our time during the remaining time on the island. After the Starfish beach Jack treated us to a local dinner and we went back home. The last 30 min of the trip we experienced the true heavy rainfall on the island so came back completely wet, but me, my wife and our two daughters loved every minute of the trip (total trip was around 5 hours). Jack even ran to the reception to ask for an umbrella for those last couple of moments before we depart. Small little things made this trip worth every penny. Thanks Jack, we won't forget the trip! And thanks for being personal and sharing your story with us.

Great experience driving through the jungle, eating near the shore laying out on the beach and swimming in the ocean! Our tour guide Tong was extremely friendly and had so much knowledge about Vietnam to offer!

Walking across the markets gave a good insight to real market situation; street food and coffee was ok; dinner at the restaurant was average. All in all: good tour, could have had some more special food delicacies typically for the region. The bar at the end of the tour was perfect with a great drink and an stunning view over Duong Dong.

Fabulous day out with Tong touring the north side of the island in a 70 year old US army jeep. Tong was informative, fun and a great photographer. Great tour would recommend. Give it a go!

We went as a family of six so that required both jeeps. The hosts were absolutely amazing and can speak very good English. My wife, son and daughter all got a chance to drive the 70 year jeeps through the national park, they absolutely loved it. The food was great at the floating restaurant followed by a short boat trip to star fish beach. Be aware of the other jeep tours, the others are not genuine and do not speak English. This tour has genuine war jeeps. We had the best day out. Thanks again.
