From April 1st, you'll have the opportunity to freely explore the gardens at your own pace and enjoy the musical show inside the gardens of Versailles. Please be aware that guided visits inside the gardens will no longer be included

Entry to the gardens is free of charge from November to March, and no ticket is required during this period. However, from April to October, a ticket is necessary to visit the gardens. Your City Wonders representative will provide you with your ticket on the day of the tour.

If you select the Full Day Option with Giverny & Versailles, you will start by a tour of Claude Monet's House in Giverny, followed by free time in the village. You will then head to Versailles by coach for an afteroon guided tour. You will be back in Paris at 7pm

Guide was friendly and extremely knowledgeable! Made the visit so interesting. Versailles is beautiful. There is so much to see. It takes you back in time.

We arrived and there was no tour. They left before the time that was stated on the voucher. Poor customer service. Refund was out of the question!

Pickup was well marked and organized. Left on time in comfortable coach buses. We had a tour that started at 10:00 and at the palace at 11:00. It was already very crowded and seemed to get more crowded as the day went on. Perhaps an earlier tour would be better. Our guide Martha was very knowledgeable and professional. We added the gardens option, which was massive, but just trees and fountains…. No flowers. The palace was obviously very gaudy and the gardens didn’t impress us. Also, we were able to talk our way back into the palace after going outside, to see the daughters bedrooms (optional), which was very interesting. Finding this part of the palace was not easy. After, when we’re were to meet for the bus ride home, this part was not organized and somewhat confusing. Our departure time was 3:00, told to be there about 15 minutes early, but there was nobody there from the tour company. We found others on the tour also looking, so we hoped were at the correct meeting spot and panicked less. At about 3:05 someone showed up and led us to the buses home. Yea we recommend using a tour guide to see the Palace.

There is a lot of walking involved but the Gardens are gorgeous. Our guide Nazli was very engaging when it came to sharing the history of Versailles.

Natalia provided an excellent overview of the history of Versailles and also managed to get our group to the front of the queue! Overall I recommend this tour highly.
