Our full day trip from Vienna shows you the must-see places in Austria in a comfortable and flexible manner.
Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Austrian Alps, where you will find out the facts of the highlight of the Wachau Valley, the magnificent Benedictine Abbey of Melk.
As you continue your journey, you will experience the natural splendour of the Salzkammergut Lake District, a paradise of serene waters and stunning alpine scenery.
The next highlight of the trip is the unique village of Hallstatt, located right on the shores of an Alpine lake with an amazing view of the huge mountains rising steeply from a narrow valley.
The next highlight is the City of the Sound of Music - Salzburg, where you will have free time to stroll through the Old Town, Mirabel garden, Mozart's Birthplace and enjoy the world capital of classical music.
If you find yourself enchanted by this magnificent city, you can stay there longer and return to Vienna at your own expenses by train.

Please note that you will cover approx. 660 km. by motorway on this day. It is approx. 8,5 hours drive with multiple stops. You will spend minimum 1 hour in Hallstatt and max. 2 hours in Salzburg. In case of traffic jams, the time can be shortened.
This tour is created for inquisitive travellers who want to visit the most important cities in a short time. If you want to get to know these cities in more details, we strongly advise you to go to each of these cities separately.
To save your free time in the cities, we also recommend you to bring light snacks and water. You can eat on the bus as long as you don't disturb other tourists.
Tour is not recommended for infants and very slow-moving disabled persons.

5.00The trip was excellent! Dasha (the guide) and Ghenadie (the diver) were fantastic. Ghena made us feel safe in the bus, and Dasha....ooo Daaha was fantastic. She told us stories on the bus, stories that made the trip more pleasant and educational, but not so that we grown bored. The road to all the destinations was smooth and careless. In the end, we were glad we took the experience. Thanks Dasha amd Ghena!

4.00🌍🚗 Just wrapped up our recent tour, and here's my take! First off, our guide Sabrina was a total gem! 🌟 Super knowledgeable and always willing to help, she made our experience that much better. However, the tour felt a bit rushed overall. We did get some extra time in Hallstatt to grab a bite and snap some beautiful pictures 📸, which was a highlight! But many of the stops were too brief to really explore on our own. Next time, we’re thinking about renting a car to take the scenic route at our own pace and dive into the history ourselves – Google is our friend! 📚✨ If you're considering this tour, go for it! Just be prepared for a whirlwind adventure. ⏳💨

5.00This was Austria in a nutshell. Trip was extensive. In Hallstatt a lot of the local stores were closed and if you are with several other large groups arriving at lunch time, go to the market square. There was a tiny little restaurant we ate pizza at which was amazing. But space was limited to about 25 people. The views did not disappoint.. Salzburg was magical, our guide was very knowledgeable and patient. We definitely could have spent more time here.
