Steve was an amazing guide. Lots of fun, very knowledgeable, very accommodating, and an all around good guy. We would love to have him on every tour. We learned a lot about El Salvador and got to try a lot of exotic fruits, good food, and tasty coffee. We also got to find great souvenirs and see the volcanos. Love Steve. He told us that Salvadorians love Black Americans and we were able to tell and felt honored. Lunch was amazing and very fresh. We would love to visit El Salvador again in the future. Steve was absolutely awesome and make this trip worth every penny.

Unfortunately, my experience with this tour was disappointing due to the lack of professionalism from both the tour guide and the driver. The tour guide was clearly new to the job. While I fully understand that everyone has to start somewhere, I would still expect a basic level of preparation. She seemed to have no knowledge about the itinerary or the destinations we were visiting, and provided very little information throughout the trip—ironically, the driver appeared to know more than she did. The driver, a returnee from Italy, used a very small car for our day trip that lacked proper safety features—most notably, it had no seatbelt for the passenger seat. He also drove quite fast on the highway, which raised serious safety concerns and likely violated local traffic laws. Most frustrating of all, he played loud music throughout the day, and despite my repeated requests to turn it off, he continued to ignore me. In short, both the guide and the driver came across as unprofessional and unhelpful. I cannot recommend this tour unless there are significant improvements in training, vehicle standards, and overall service quality.

A wonderful day visiting the colonial towns. I had a delicious lunch in the 3rd town and really loved the entire experience. The coffee plantation/farm was so much fun. Steve (tour guide) and Sandy were terrific hosts.

Nice to see some of the countryside and small towns in El Salvador. The tour was pretty relaxed. I liked trying the food and coffee. We spent a little too much time around souvenir shops.
