Alfredo took us to Mayan archeological sites, and on a jungle hike to look at the volcano. Everyone enjoyed the trip because of Alfredo’s extensive knowledge. I would definitely tell my friends to take this tour.

Great guide, great experience we weren’t able to see the volcano. Because of the weather we came during raining season.

This tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Our guide Adonis was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared fascinating stories about El Salvador’s volcanoes, Mayan history, and culture. Each stop — from the scenic viewpoints at Cerro Verde to the stunning Lake Coatepeque — offered something unique and breathtaking. The hike around the volcanoes was well-paced, and we always felt safe and cared for. Lunch was delicious, and the whole experience felt very well organized. If you only have one day to explore El Salvador, this combo tour is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

The tour was excellent from start to finish. Alfredo, our guide, was very professional and friendly, always willing to share his extensive knowledge about the history, nature and culture of El Salvador. The views of the Izalco, Santa Ana and Cerro Verde volcanoes were simply spectacular, and Alfredo explained fascinating details about the formation and biodiversity of each. Lake Coatepeque left us speechless for its beauty, and visits to the archaeological sites of Joya de Cerén and San Andrés perfectly completed the experience. Thanks to Alfredo’s good organization and enthusiasm, we had an unforgettable day. Highly recommended for those who want to know the best of El Salvador in one day!

This was an excellent tour that touched on all the things in the description. The travel time is long (especially in traffic) so be prepared for that. The weather at the top of the Cerro Verde can be chilly, so bring a light jacket. And motion sickness meds. The drive to the top is winding and several of us felt nauseous at the end. Other than that, the tour was excellent. And the restaurant Casa 1800 that they took us to is spectacular and delicious.
