It was amazing. Our tour guide Odanis and driver Omar were absolutely informative and super kind with us. They made sure that we were take care of and provided so much about the Mayans. It's a great experience and I would recommend.

The Best Full Day Combo Tour – Volcanoes, Lake & Mayan Sites truly lived up to its name. Our guide, Alfredo, was fantastic—very knowledgeable, friendly, and easy to approach with questions. The bus was clean, comfortable, and always on time, and the driver made us feel very safe, especially going up and down the volcano. Lunch was at a restaurant chosen by the tour, and it was absolutely amazing. Overall, an excellent and well-organized experience that I would highly recommend.

This tour tied together a variety of activities (two Mayan sites and Cerro Verde). Be prepared for both lots of sunshine and heat at the ruins as well as cooler temperatures at the volcano. Our only concern was that we didn't stop for lunch until about 3 pm! Take advantage of snacks you can buy along the way, or bring a snack with you.

Of all the excursions made in El Salvador, we liked this Azs flight the least. At the archaeological excavation site we were urged to hurry at the end. Then we head to the observation restaurant Casa 1800 in the national park - crowded, totally touristy, totally noisy. We would have preferred a more authentic restaurant Again: Hurry up! And this despite the fact that the waiters had a lot to do. Finally, there were 30 minutes left for a set walk. What remains of nature? A view from high above of the lake, a volcanic view and mass tourism. And then more than 2 1/2 hours of driving back. Although the tour guide and driver were nice and attentive, they cannot save the tour either.

Alfredo, the guide, was very good in knowledge, in organizing the route, in meeting the requests of each traveller without causing damage to the route.

Very complete the tour and very friendly Alfredo, the guide and the driver. The visit to the Jewels of Ceren is very interesting and very different from other archaeological sites

Wow - what a long, long day. IF, you want to be in a small group of people [2-4] and a shorter 6-8 hour tour - I would recommend another tour. There were 8 site-seers on this tour bus; that required 4 different pick-up locations. [My journey began @ 07:30 and ended @ 18:55, that is an 11 hour & 25 minute day!] However, the tour w/ Alfredo Diaz & our driver - I cannot recall, nor pronounce his name - was alot of fun & very informative. The natural beauty of El Salvador was in full bloom; the Mayan ruins & museum's were amazing, and my hamburger at Casa 1800 was great - but, the view was spectacular! And, the gardens & hiking around the restaurant are very relaxing.
