Pyramids of Giza
Your tour begins with pickup from your requested location by a licensed guide. If your hotel is outside the central area, a professional driver will handle the pickup instead. Once you arrive at the Giza Plateau, you will explore the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Your guide will share fascinating stories and historical facts about each pyramid and the pharaohs who built them. Next, you will visit the Valley Temple of Khafre, which was used for the mummification process and the ceremonial preparation of the king’s body. Finally, you will enjoy a close-up view of the Great Sphinx, a legendary statue with the body of a lion and the face of King Khafre, standing guard over the pyramids. Please note that entering the pyramids requires a separate ticket, and your guide will be happy to assist you with this if you wish to go inside.
Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)
Khufu’s Pyramid, also known as the Great Pyramid of Giza, is the only surviving wonder of the ancient Seven Wonders of the World. It held the record as the tallest man-made structure on Earth for over 3,800 years. The pyramid complex once included a valley temple, which is now buried beneath the modern village of Nazlet El-Samman. While the site has yet to be fully excavated, remains such as diabase paving and limestone walls have been discovered. With your expert Egyptologist guide, you will explore the entire area and uncover the secrets of this ancient architectural marvel. Please note that entry inside the Great Pyramid requires a special ticket, and your guide will be happy to assist you with the arrangements.

Looking back at my solo tour experience, I must say that I was pleasant surprise by how calm I felt being out here by myself in the desert next to the pyramids; I actually got to take a deep breath. The complimentary ice cream was a small but pleasant distraction from the heat. The walk through the city was also great to add a little excitement after the quiet of the pyramids. Overall, a relaxing and simple experience that you can enjoy by yourself.

A relaxing and fun day out to spend quality time together as a couple! The leisurely pace of walking around the pyramids created an atmosphere of tranquility, allowing couples plenty of opportunities to share their experiences. Stopping at the Sphinx was perfect with an added bonus of an ice-cream treat, creating a cheerful mood before the trip downtown. A comfortable and relaxing experience for two, with no crowds or rush.

An excellent day out with family where you had enough time to really enjoy the Pyramids and Sphinx at a nice slow pace. The guide made everything quite easy to understand for everyone, adults and children. The walk through downtown is a great relaxing break and, of course, the ice cream was nice and refreshing. It was a pleasant experience for all, especially because it was so nicely paced.

I had an amazing time exploring Egypt with Merna. She was not only an incredible tour guide, but she also provided an incredible amount of insight into all the things I was seeing. Everything was easy to understand due to her clear explanation and the leisurely pace of the tour however, the best surprise was the ice cream stop

Visiting the Giza Pyramids on one's own was a wonderful combination of peace and adventure. Walking along the plateau with the Sphinx in view felt unreal, and simultaneously enjoying free ice cream under the sun was a nice aspect. With the downtown walk, it was a stark contrast going from ancient sands to bustling streets. A wonderful experience for any traveler who wants to explore Egypt freely

A remarkable solo experience. The tour has a thorough examination of the Pyramids and Sphinx with ample time to explore and take incredible pictures. The guide does a good job of presenting the history in a clear manner, and he keeps the tour relaxed. The free ice cream is a nice touch, and the downtown walk at the end is a good way to get a little sample of local life. Very good for any travelers venturing out alone

This tour truly struck the right balance between history and enjoyment for couples. Exploring the Pyramids and Sphinx together was especially memorable, and the guide shared difficult-to-remember, but very fun-to-read, stories. The walk downtown and ice cream at the end made for a nice little cherry on top to a very fun, cultural, and romantic day that never felt like it was moving too fast.
