I really enjoyed this self-driving and walking tour! It gives historical background and information that is not included on the historical markers that are posted along the canyon. If you choose to take a break and continue later, it's easy to do that. For the price, it is definitely worth it, especially if you are doing the canyon on a budget! I have been to the Grand Canyon 4 times, and this was my first visit in the winter. I definitely recommend going at this time because crowds are small, the prices to stay in the park are much cheaper, and the other visitors are primarily from around the world. It was really great!

This can be a confusing app. This could have told us when we should walk from one spot to another, and when to take a shuttle bus. We spent way too much time by the hotels listening to the app; we finally went on the Hermits Nest route, where we saw more spectacular views of the Grand Canyon. The app could have suggested choosing more spectacular views, like Pima Point, instead of bogging time near hotels when the views were pretty much the same.

A very enjoyable and informative narrative of the South Grand Canyon rim. It was most helpful. We didn’t use all of it as we only had one day, The app itself is somewhat frustrating. The only way I could seem to close it was by completely shutting down my phone!

We found the app difficult to follow when we stopped and resumed. After a while we stopped trying to figure it out we need practice with it.
