  Very long trip. Started well with amazing driver who helped us with our toddler, providing a child seat, stowing the pushchair and carrier at each stop and even bringing her snow boot that had dropped back to her! Drive was stunning in the Alps - amazing views and scenery. First stop was supposed to be Interlaken according to initial itinerary but was in fact Lauterbrunnen - beautiful alpine village - short walk to a waterfall for photo stop. Onto Grindelwald - postcard perfect with spectacular views. A bit of snow on the ground but was compacted into ice in the playground and dangerous underfoot - children and adults falling frequently. Too long there especially if you can’t/don’t want to go up in the cable car / train - 3 hours would have been enough even for doing those activities. Final stop was Interlaken - beautiful Main Street but was so late when we got there all shops were closing up save a few little market stalls so was disappointed and as such nothing really to do there! Wish the original order of places had happened so we could have enjoyed more of Interlaken. Drive back was brilliant and we arrived earlier than advertised which was welcomed after the long day. The worst part was one of the female guides - she was obsessed with people wearing the stickers, told off the whole bus when a couple of people were late back at the first stop - we’d been kept waiting and then got a group rebuke!! Told the bus if it happened again they’d be left behind - then at the next stop she was late back! And then at the final stop kept us waiting for someone who’d missed their bus due to being late telling us all how kind she was for waiting. Finally she was so dismissive of you if you didn’t buy her tickets for the cable car ride.

  The excursion was exactly as described. The motor coach was comfortable and departure and arrival times were prompt. The experience was magnificent as the views were breath taking. The winter hours did not leave much daylight for the last stop however.

  Of the worst experiences on a tour, starting because inside the bus there was a discussion between tourists because of problems with the fields, where none of the guides knew how to contain the situation, later it was supposed that there were 3 types of activities to do in Grindelwald, the guide named Ercilia, on several occasions I asked her about the sled option and she never knew how to explain correctly how to proceed to do the activity, she only indicated that she should take a train and already, in the end we felt that we were forced to do what she indicated was to go to First, then we are told that we left Grindelwald at X hour, we delayed and left the bus, we understand that it was our responsibility, however they were not to call us once to indicate that they were leaving, and for the worse when we managed to reach the last village on our own, the guide affirms us with total indifference that if we were called, to which I assure you no and just stayed silent, I do not know if the person was new but in terms of communication and empathy, terrible experience. For large groups they should have a guide per activity and be more empathetic and improve communication.

  The tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. He kept a watchful eye on all guests and was very helpful towards we first time travelers. Communications with booking agent was very efficient even when I needed a lot of help. I would definitely recommend Viator.
