It was grrrrrreeeat! Nice view from the top and the ride was smooth. We had dinner and saw a squirrel "break-in" into the restaurant. Hahaha

Visited in October and more or less everything was shut up the mountain apart from the shop and cafe. There was even maintenance going on. So, other than seeing the bears, I am not sure what our stupidly expensive ticket bought us. Even the cable car up there was a rickety old rust bucket. Why the price is not reduced off season, I will never know. Save your money and don't bother.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Grouse mountain, staff were very friendly and informative. It was fascinating to see the grizzly bears at close quarters. Slightly disappointed that Beavertails was closed and that the lumberjack show only operated at weekends.

We bought tickets in town at Canada Place where we hopped on the free shuttle to the base of Grouse Mountain. Caught the blue gondola to the top with our group of 8. Explored the top, didn't enjoy the corny lumberjack show, would have just preferred to see their skills without the kitschy slapstick. Loved seeing the bears close up, rode the ski lift up to the top, not much up there, but we did see a wedding proposal and the views are sensational. We had a foggy start to the day but by lunch the views were amazing as it cleared. Had lunch at the BBQ, watched the bird show and explored around. Our group all loved the day as we didnt have any expectations of the day. Rode the red cable car back down to the bottom. Slowest part was waiting for the free shuttle bus back to town. Would definitely recommend visiting.

Loved, loved, loved the Grizzlies and the logging show - definite highlights of the visit. The Eco-walk tour was excellent also and there were amazing views taking all the open lifts and gondolas. We were there a bit out of season so a couple of the talks and shows were not open, but we had a great day regardless. Note: we thought we were going to have a very ordinary day with no views until the gondola took us above the mist and we could see everything! The mist burned off and later in the day the views opened even more!

We rode the gondola up to the restaurant at the top, and enjoyed a delicious meal and an incredible view of the sunset. The service was friendly and helpful - we were traveling with elderly parents and they didn't feel rushed on or off in the boarding / de-boarding.

This was the most disappointing experience, you can literally walk around the whole thing in 10 minutes. The lumberjack show was a slap stick comedy, not really funny. The bird display was ok, but only 4 birds, that just fly over a few times. The chairlift goes to top of mountain but theres nothing there!!! Overpriced , didnt even spend the morning there, dont waste your time

We visited on a sunny Saturday in September. Farr too crowded, they sell tickets with no thought of numbers. First there was a huge queue to buy tickets from just one ticket booth. When we got up the mountain it was like a shrine to consumerism, far too many retail and food outlets plus leisure activities (apparently a roller coaster in planned) . There was loud pop music blaring out from speakers which is not what people want in a natural area. It was such a shame as I expect this was a beautiful place once upon a time and it has the otential to be so much better. It was great to see the birds of prey and their handlers were knowledgeable. We liked seeing the rescued grizzlies but I felt sorry for them having to put up with all the noise. It’s just Farr too commercialised for a natural space.
