Our guides are fully qualified and have extensive knowledge of the area. Not only will you learn about the history, landscape and present day life on this tour you will also hear Icelandic folktales. This is a round trip through some of the most picturesque landscape in North Iceland.
The total tour length is 4 hours. All travel time is included in that length. We first drive for approximently 35 min to Goðafoss, then another 30 min to Laufas Turfhouse Museum. From Laufas there is then another 30 min drive to the beautiful Christmas House & Gardens. After visiting the Christmas house we drive a short sightseeing around the town of Akureyri before dropping the passenger off. This is a fully guided, informative and enjoyable tour, all entrance fee is included in the tour price.

4.00Trip was amazing. Godafoss falls and the Laufas (sod houses) Great views of parts of Akureyi Christmas house was ok. More retail stop Would have liked more time at falls and laufas houses as these were more interesting Our tour guide was very informative and told us lots of funny stories. He made the drive interesting Our trip was longer than three hours. Was almost 5 hours.

5.00Seeing the falls was one of the highlights of our trip. This tour was great. We had plenty of time to see the falls and walk the paths for different viewing opportunities. We even had time to enjoy a snack at the visitor center. Laufas Museum was fascinating and the scenery was beautiful. The bus was comfortable. The tour guide was helpful and interesting.
