The Marble Mountains
The Marble Mountains are a cluster of five stunning marble and limestone peaks, each named after one of the five elements: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. As you ascend the stone steps carved into the mountains, you will discover a serene Buddhist pagoda and breathtaking caves, along with beautiful panoramic views from the mountaintop. One notable site is Am Phu Cave, which features a captivating replica of “Heaven and Hell,” offering a unique glimpse into Buddhist beliefs about the afterlife. At the foot of the Marble Mountains lies Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village, a unique craft village renowned for its marble sculptures. With a history spanning over 200 years, this village showcases the artistry and skill of local sculptors who create stunning marble products.
Linh Ung Pagoda
Next, we will journey north to the Son Tra Peninsula, which rises 693 meters above sea level and is located just 10 kilometers northeast of Da Nang City. Here, we will visit the magnificent Son Tra Linh Ung Pagoda, known for its impressive Lady Buddha statue, one of the tallest in Vietnam. From this vantage point, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city, the peninsula, and the Marble Mountains, creating a unique impression that is unforgettable.

Our tour guide, Autumn, was great! She was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites we visited and we learned a lot. I appreciated how the driver was waiting for us at every site and we didn’t have to walk far. I am glad we went with a tour guide because we learned things we wouldn’t have if we went by ourselves.

The sites are a must see if you are in Da Nang. Our guides, Emily and Truc, were brilliant. They paced the visits superbly and informative at the right level, no overload or overload. They were so proactive in taking pictures as otherwise a couple would be forced into a wefie.

Excellent activity even in rainy weather. Had a fantastic guide, Emily, who not only provided interesting and insightful content to the tour but also planned our itinerary in such a manner as to avoid the crowds. Absolutely recommend this trip!
