What To Expect

Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve

At the Rhino and Lion Reserve, you will be overwhelmed by viewing animals in their natural habitat. It is home to a wonderful variety of wildlife such as lions, rhinos, buffaloes, cheetahs, and antelopes. We also have the opportunity to visit the animals' creche and take pictures of Lions and cheetah cubs. You can also get to visit Wonder Cave and see one of the best caves in Africa.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Experience! I had a tour to the Lion and Rhino Park, which I booked online. Everything went very well, although I made a mistake entering the wrong pickup address. I called the company, and Solly was incredibly understanding and went above and beyond to help us. He managed to locate us easily, had great conversations along the way, and shared wonderful recommendations for restaurants and other attractions to visit during our vacation. If you’re looking for a reliable and friendly tour company, I highly recommend booking with them — truly a 10/10 experience!

Bothongo reserve is amazing If you go on a Saturday tour in the afternoon you can see the predator feedings. Its pretty cool. They will feed the wild dogs, lions and cheetahs. This operator arranges for you to be picked up from.your hotel and dropped off. The driver dropped me off 2 hours early so there was alot of waiting around. In addition Solly did not communicate with me until 9pm the night before about the pick up time I would suggest contacting people earlier and checking your messages. I had very long excursion days prior and was in bed. It's just a suggestion but I did not deduct a star from it.

Unique experience. Sensational park, transfer to the park quiet, punctual and safe. Park with various animals, possibility to see them in their "natural" habitat.
A great experience in a wonderful location with accommodating helpers. Everything went to schedule.

A very good experience with Gabriel who is passionate about the history of South Africa and is committed to our tour going well. We were able to see the rhinos which was our main expectation and visit the wonder cellar at extra cost, it was worth it! Thank you 🙏

Brian was a polite, friendly, and efficient driver. Smooth pick up and drop off at the hotel. The reserve is very well maintained. Since I visited on a Saturday, I was able to watch the white lions, gorgeous African wild dogs, and cheetahs being fed. Spent plenty of time watching the baby white rhino. Perfect way to spend a layover day in Johannesburg.
