Taking off and landing on the water at Tuan Chau Marina, our 25-minute scenic flight showcases the highlights of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay, offering a completely different perspective than from a cruise ship. From the air, the many islands appear like mountain ranges, the embodiment of ""Ha Long"", meaning ""descending dragon"".

Keep your camera at the ready throughout the trip, as aerial photographs are the best way to capture the grand scale of Halong Bay, and the vast number of islands and rock formations that define the Gulf of Tonkin coast. You’ll see Dau Be Island, whose sheer cliffs are a destination for rock climbers and adventurers, then fly past Cong Do Island, where the sinuous coastline shelters hidden lagoons. Pass over Bo Hon Island, and try to spot the caves and grottoes that pock the island’s water-eroded rock formations.

5.00Seeing Ha Long Bay from the air is so much better than seeing it from a boat. We done both and while doing the cruise was an amazing experience, it doesn't compare to seeing it from a Birdseye view. Being on a seeplane is also an experience in itself. The memories will live on with my son and I for a lifetime. Thank you.
Stunning views, but rather overpriced for just 15 mins air-time

3.00The view is stunning, but of the “25 minute flight”, you’re only in the air for maximum 15 mins, half of which is over Ha Long Bay and the other half over Ha Long City, so quite disappointing for the amount of money charged

3.00The staff was very nice and we at least sat in the plane. But it didn't take-off, as the weather was not good enough. Bad luck.

4.00The seaplane experience was magnificent and breathtaking, and I wish the flight had lasted longer. However, we almost missed the flight because we didn't have the right meeting point even though we were there 20 minutes before departure time. I sent a message via Viator but got no reply. I was then contacted by WhatsApp by the operator who organized the plane and fortunately we were 3 minutes away from the meeting point by running... and the lady who answered me was perfect as was the gentleman who came to pick us up by car. Fortunately, they were waiting for us and we were able to take off! That's why I'm giving it 4 stars, but the flight was worth 5. And it was great, because the seaplane took off anyway, as it was a bit cloudy, but that gave it a special atmosphere! We really enjoyed it.
