The only way to truly appreciate the magnificent scenery of Ha Long Bay is by scenic flight. Admire the stunning seascapes made up of nearly 2,000 limestone islands rising from the emerald green waters, strewn over an area of nearly 2,000 square kilometers.

Taking off and landing on the water at Tuan Chau Marina, our 25-minute scenic flight showcases the highlights of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay, offering a completely different perspective than from a cruise ship. From the air, the many islands appear like mountain ranges, the embodiment of ""Ha Long"", meaning ""descending dragon"".

See some of the 1,600 islands and islets that are scattered across the Gulf of Tonkin, along with lagoons, beaches, and towering sea cliffs. Keep your camera at the ready throughout the trip, as aerial photographs are the best way to capture the grand scale of Halong Bay, and the vast number of islands and rock formations that define the Gulf of Tonkin coast. You’ll see Dau Be Island, whose sheer cliffs are a destination for rock climbers and adventurers, then fly past Cong Do Island, where the sinuous coastline shelters hidden lagoons. Pass over Bo Hon Island, and try to spot the caves and grottoes that pock the island’s water-eroded rock formations.

fantastic trip, so easy as the sea plane is right next to the check in area and you are in the air within a few minutes. The staff are very friendly and with 2 pilots, everyone felt extra safe. We don't have that level of safety in Australia so well done! breath taking views! I will do it again.

Taking a Halong Bay cruise is truly beautiful and relaxing, but taking a seaplane sightseeing flight gives a whole new perspective on how large and varied the island are. Throughout the 35 min flight, there was always something new to see like a hidden fishing village, or a new resort development, or the number of ships that are heading towards Haiphong.

Seeing Ha Long Bay from the air is so much better than seeing it from a boat. We done both and while doing the cruise was an amazing experience, it doesn't compare to seeing it from a Birdseye view. Being on a seeplane is also an experience in itself. The memories will live on with my son and I for a lifetime. Thank you.

This is a MUST DO activity in Ha Long Bay. The flight is quick and easy and it gives you a perfect Birds Eye view of the islands and city. Perfect for all ages!

We had booked a seaplane tour in Vietnam for 8 people, including 2 8 year olds. It was supposed to be one of the highlights of our trip, but it turned into a huge disappointment due to the unprofessionalism of the provider. We took a taxi at 7am from Hanoi airport to arrive on time. Unfortunately, a misdirection took us to Cat Ba via ferry, and we realized we were not on the right path. As soon as we understood the situation, we contacted the claimant to try to find a solution, but he showed no flexibility. Not only did he not offer any alternatives to help us get to the starting point on time, but he refused to change the schedule or offer a postponement without charge. It was only the next day that he told us about a ferry shuttle that would have allowed us to arrive in time, but it was already too late. The only solution proposed? Reschedule the excursion... by paying again! That is €990 lost without any commercial gesture. We were shocked by so much bad faith and lack of customer service. We travel a lot and are used to being well organized, but in the face of an unforeseen event, a good provider has to be accommodating, especially for such an expensive service. If you want a reliable and professional experience, ESCAPE THIS SERVICE PROVIDER! He has no respect for his customers once payment is made!

A fabulous way to see Ha Long Bay before your cruise. This was part of our trip organised by Tavel Agent Hanoi. An incredible experience, definitely worth the time and expense. Lasts approximately 25 mins and will stay with you for a lot longer. Great team and highly recommend if you get the chance.
