This thrilling hot air balloon ride takes you up 2,000 feet (609 meters) over the rolling hills, classic Italian villas, imposing castles and sprawling vineyards and olive groves of the Tuscan countryside. What To Expect

Balloon Team Tuscany

You will receive the meeting point in the afternoon before your flight, or you can request a pick-up service, we will take you to the hotel, make sure you reserve it, this is not included. After being greeted by your captain and crews, you will receive a safety briefing before taking off. If you wish, you can help with aeration of the balloon before getting into the basket for your flight. The flight will last circ an hour, you will then be able to savor the excitement while you get up and stand gently up and over the Tuscan countryside. You will sail at a height varying from 500 feet to 3000 feet, depending on the wind of that day. All this will allow you to admire the breathtaking landscape of Tuscany. You'll see gentle hills dotted with pretty Italian villages, cypress trees, dominant castles and abundant vineyards, olive groves and orchards. You will see all that nature will want to show you. It will be a real adventure. Upon landing, we will toast this experience with a glass of sparkling wine! You will then be taken back to the launch site, or if you have reserved the pick-up service, you will enjoy a comfortable transfer to the hotel. You can reserve the transfer service even the day before if you have not yet decided.

The balloon ride was absolutely incredible! It was on my bucket list and what a perfect place to do it over Tuscany- WOW! Our operator Oliver was very knowledgeable and skilled and we felt steady and safe the entire time. The views breathtaking !! Loved the drone footage as well!- so professional. It was our 40th anniversary and truly an unforgettable experience and the highlight of our trip! The return breakfast and champagne toast was a wonderful way to celebrate it all. Perfection! So happy we decided to do this.

An absolutely fabulous experience from start to finish! The entire team was friendly and very knowledgeable in their trade. Our pilot, Alley, was beyond amazing. Super sweet, constantly giving updates on where we were and pointing out interesting sites, and a top notch pilot which was evident throughout our journey. To top off your flight, you land to find a nice spread of local foods and a glass of prosecco. Don’t forget to watch the drone footage they take. It was really fun to see shots of you in the basket during the ride.

Mornings can be cold so bring layers. Balloon team were professional and attentive to everyone’s experience. If you pay for pick up service, be sure you know how to use WhatsApp to be able to contact the driver in the morning.

The epic views of the countryside. Our pilot guided us through a valley literally brushing the tree tops, so good. We did however fall a little short on the 1 hour experience
