Join our Tuscan cooking class in Siena. The school was the first in Siena, founded in 1996. The lessons will be held by Francesco, the owner of the cooking school, that has always been a passionate lover of traditional tuscan family recipes, coupled with only the healthiest and most authentic local ingredients. Francesco teaches how to prepare a full Tuscan menù from starter to dessert including a fresh home-made pasta. The menu is not always the same, but every time we prepare 5 recipes, find an example below. Of course we can choose between various starters, soups, fresh pastas, like, ravioli, gnocchi and pici, with related condiments. For example, there can be a main course of meat with side dishes. Desserts can be typical from Tuscany, or typical of other Italian regions. At the end of each lesson, the meal is served with the food prepared during the lesson, together with a ¼ per person of excellent Tuscan IGT wine. The group lessons are in ENGLISH On request and only for private lessons, we can offer other languages (french, german, spanish, japanese, chinese, russian). During the booking procedure, please leave your cellphone number for any quick communication.

I have had cooking classes on several international trips to include a previous to Italy and trips to Morocco and Spain. All were great experiences but this was hands down the best. The food was great but the multi-lingual aspect along with cultural insights made it truly memorable.

This was a purely wonderful experience! Chef Francesco was clearly knowledgeable but explained each step of our four-course meal in ways that a cook of any level would understand and be comfortable to do in their own kitchen. He spoke in Italian most of the time to give us the full immersive experience but the lovely interpreter (whose name I can’t recall) ensured that we understood every word - and every technique. I consider myself a very good cook (I own a small business where I cook for customers) but I picked up so many tips on how to improve what I offer my family, friends, and customers. The food we helped make was absolutely delicious - bread soup, hand-rolled pici (yeah that took some practice!), porchetta, and pane cotta. It was great to enjoy it with our classmates and a few bottles of their house wine! I don’t think four hours has ever passed so quickly!
