Gay Monument
Amsterdam is one of the most liberal cities in the world. No wonder it was the first city worldwide to legalise gay marriage. Our meeting point is the Homomonument where you'll learn why we have this wonderful Monument and what role it plays for us and the world.
Westerkerk
The biggest church in Amsterdam, built 1619 – 1631, the Western Church, is the most important Protestant church in the city, while its bell tower – the Westerkerk Tower built 1619 – 1631- Dutch: Westertoren, remains until today the pride of Amsterdam, regarded by many, as the city symbol.

Aryeh was great. He made the 4 hour tour fly by. This walking tour was absolutely fantastic! Aryeh was knowledgeable, funny, and passionate about Amsterdam’s history; we learned so much while exploring charming streets and hidden gems we never would’ve found on our own. The pace was perfect, and the stories really brought the city to life. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the real Amsterdam beyond the usual tourist spots!

Absolutely loved this experience. It felt more like walking through real stories than just a city tour. Our guide shared Amsterdam not through buildings, but through people — their lives, struggles, humor, and dreams. It reminded me that every corner of this city holds a heartbeat. Beautifully curated, inspiring, and deeply human. Highly recommend if you want to feel Amsterdam, not just see it. 🤍

Grace and I loved our experience with the wonderful tour guide Alexandra. Our group was a great size (6 people), and we met friendly locals and got a beautiful walking tour of the city of Amsterdam. We highly recommend this tour company!

This tour was truly unforgettable. Our guide was kind, attentive, and answered every question with such care. What made it so special was getting the chance to meet locals and hear their stories, which gave me a much deeper, more personal understanding of both their lives and the history of the city. It didn’t feel like just another tour, it felt like being welcomed into the heart of the community. I can’t recommend it enough; it’s a must for anyone visiting. Just be prepared for a good amount of walking, it’s worth every step.

We had an excellent experience on the tour. There was a perfect mix of walking, history, food and drink. We also stopped and got to talk to several locals who all had very interesting backgrounds. Aryeh was one of the best guides we've ever had and I would highly recommend to request him as he really made the tour and was a damn wonderful storyteller.

Lovely tour, best of all the tours I did in Amsterdam. Welcoming, safe and a calm vibe. The stories of (and by) the local folks were the best part. The human aspect really stands out, rather than just the landmarks, plus we had a great apple pie!

Aryeh was a wonderful tour guide. Great job of blending the history of the city as well as a chance to meet some locals. Couple of stops along the way for a rest as well

Our tour guide Aryeh was fantastic! Very enthusiastic and a wealth of information and personal stories. He also introduced us to two locals that shared their personal stories. It was very interesting and entertaining, as one of them was an ex-sex worker. It was lots of fun overall. There is quite a bit of walking and standing so you need to be ready for a full four hours. I would certainly highly recommend this walking tour of Amsterdam.

Alexandra was a fantastic guide and showed us the best of Amsterdam. We had not visited before and didn’t know much about the city. But we left wanting to stay longer and definitely come back. Alexandra was great with the kids and also older family members. She was very thoughtful and even came ready with umbrellas when there was a touch of rain. Luckily it cleared quickly and we had a lovely day in Amsterdam. Would definitely recommend to friends and family visiting this lovely city!
