This tour was a lot of fun. Scott was a very engaging and funny. It felt a bit like we were on a TV show and Scott was the host. The food we tried was all excellent and it seemed that they were very accommodating of dietary restrictions for other tour groups. I especially enjoyed the takoyaki spot on our tour, and all of the spots felt pretty cool.

A must- do activity for anyone who wants to explore the culinary delights of Japanese food! Our guide, Tim, led us to five restaurants where we had 3-4 dishes at each place. Along the way he pointed out important land marks and gave us some historical background about the area. The five restaurants were all very different and a lot of fun, and the range of food we enjoyed reflective of the diverse and culturally rich range of food available in Japan. Tim was an excellent host and we enjoyed his company hugely. All in all the tour takes about 3 hours.

Scott was a fantastic tour guide! We really appreciated how he weaved together local history and information about the food we were having, and throwing in plenty of jokes, all while keeping us on track to finish on time. The tour had a variety of food (chicken, takoyaki, etc.) and it was all good. The tour was in Shinsekai, a touristy area, but several of the spots felt local, like ones I don't think we would have landed on otherwise (in a good way!). We had a great time.

Fantastic experience, it’s a must-do for anyone visiting Osaka. Our host, Anna, was so kind, energetic, and knowledgeable and took great care to ensure everyone had a great experience. This tour is such a good way to try lots of different dishes at different places, and was so well organised too. Thanks for a great experience Anna!

Five restaurants - 15 dishes. Starting from a difficult to find mom and pop authentic karaage pub to touristy takonomyaki restaurant to a perfectly maintained small local joint with probably the best udon I have ever had- the whole walk was curated with care and choice! And to Scott - our guide and co-foodie, who turned the whole trip into a boisterous adventure peppered with local lores - THANK YOU!
